Ok,

just a minor tip for cleaning the inside threads:

The outside is nice, but the inside is vital for performance!
used for guns and it actually cleans your threads on the inside like new again.

Example:

does it has metal hairs Emonty? If yes then its not good for threads. But if its hard plastic then its the best:)

I've been wondering abt GG maintenance besides applying noalox and such, like polishing using jewelry polishing cloth and perhaps the thing you posted above for the inside, what worries me is that these sorts of cleaning method may affect the performance of GGTS itself. Any idea on this?

keeping the threads clean will enhance and/or sustain it's performance!

Guys, sorry I have to ask again. You mean the place where the brass polygonal is?

Yes Imeo. They mean the atomizer cap, specifically the area that collects the E-liquid leaked out of the atomizer.

Okay, how are you guys cleaning the inside of the top cap? Around the base of the adapter? I noticed some gunk building up in there, and it's a really tight fit...

The only way to really clean that area, is to un-thread the center pole of the cap and then, you will have the cap empty and ready to be easily cleaned up.

This one is "hairy" ;-)

Emonty,

Unless you tell us where you can get these and post a link with full description, the only thing available to me right now is this :w00t:

I soak my atomizer cap in vinegar then rinse with water. This removes all the gunk. In between soakings I flatten a Q-Tip, wet it and run it along the inside edges. Keeps everything nice and clean.

Emonty, those gun barrel brushes work great and come in a variety of sizes. I use one with a cloth over it to clean the insides of my GGTS and my GG Slim.

Good enough for my Desert Eagle, good enough for my GG's. Both are marvelous feats of engineering. :D
