Throat hit is your atty and coil, and the juice you use. You're running dual coil 0.5 ohm builds right now. Are you using a single battery mech, or dual parallel or series? The regulated mod is just a battery that you can set the power on rahter than caluculate back to the battery draw you're doing on a mech.

For chain vaping I'm assuming you'll be using an RTA or your current RDAs. There are some very good subohm coil drop in tanks out there, but chain vaping takes a toll on any wicking and replacing your own is way more cost effective. I'd likely go with a regulated squonk for chain vaping so you can keep up with the juice consumption.

Without more info, what you've got so far is helpful but all I can do is recommend brands generically such as Innokin, Vaporesso, Smoant and Squid. Regulated squonks are popular. One of the better options out there is a single 21700 battery Topside, or the new dual 18650 Topside Dual. 10 ml bottle and fills from the top. Good choice if you have or can get squonk pins for your current RDAs.

Personally, I prefer the more compact and pocket-friendly single battery mods. I don't mind bringing one or two spare charged batteries in a plastic battery case with me because for myself the priority is the comfort level of the smaller mods in my hand and being able to fit easily in my pocket. So, another vote for the JAC Vapor series B DNA75W.

If going with a dual battery mod for longer battery life between charges, there are several options available. The GeekVape Aegis Legend uses two 18650 batteries and is built like a tank (waterproof and shockproof), but it is a relatively large and heavy mod to be that tough. I had one and ended up giving it to my son because it was too bulky, heavy and uncomfortable to hold, and was not pocket-friendly...for me.

IMO, the DNA chipset is the best in the industry. An upper high end dual battery regulated mod like the Lost Vape Paranormal should be one you should put on your list to consider. My daughter's significant other has one and loves it.

I am really kind of surprised they haven't made a 75C version of this yet. I prefer the menu and navigation system of the C series, plus it adds the "replay" feature.

I agree and suspect it is to maintain the competitive price point for a DNA mod. The 75 boards are a lot cheaper than the C versions and they're doing well by serving an upscale market at a price point below most DNA offerings. Going to the C would force them up into the price range to have to compete in the Lost Vape tier of manufacturers.

There is only a $25 difference in the cost of the raw DNA boards between the 75 and 75C. JAC could charge an extra $35 - $40 for the C version and it would be well worth the price.

Which would put them over the magic $100 price point. It might not seem to matter but it's like the old $99 sounds better to a customer than $100. They're pretty much the only ones held in high regard found at the current price point. I have a feeling they also get an even better wholesale price on the 75 boards as they continue to be replaced by the C version among mod builders. I can't think of anyone making something with a DNA board that's competing with them.

I tend to agree with you.

The JAC DNA75 is one of the smallest and most affordable DNA mods on the market. Using the DNA75 C chip would put it into a different price category in a very competitive market. However, JAC Vapour seems to be an innovative tech company and we may see the 75C chip in future models. I heard a rumor that JAC Vapour is working on a dual battery mod, and I bet we'll see the DNA200C chip in it.

@TraceyS - Central Vapors still has the GeekVape Aegis 100W TC mods for $44.79. They're available in Silver/Brown and in Gunmetal/Camo. A neighbor and I each got 1 of them just 2 weeks ago from them.

Info on it from the Central Vapors website: "The Aegis is a legendary TC box mod that runs up to 100W. Fastest Firing in 0.015 seconds. It supports both 18650 and 26650 battery. It is designed to be waterproof, shockproof and dustproof by adopting advanced LSR Injection Moulding technology."

Geekvape Aegis TC Box Mod - $44.79, but if you use the coupon code VAPECHEAP it'll take 11% off = $39.86 + S/H

It does come with the battery adapter by the way, so you don't have to buy one separately.

The 18650 adapter or the 21700 adapter? Both? If it doesn’t there is a 21700 adapter cap you can buy separately from geekvape

It supports 18650 and 26650, out of the box...since it comes with the adapter for the 18650.

ETA: Good to know there's an adapter cap for the 21700 though.

I bought one as soon as I heard about it. It looked at the time like they might stop making 26650s Never used it though. It looks a lot like the top cap of a pico except it goes on the bottom. It was pretty cheap iirc.
