So, I'm finally at the point of using King Orange (the Uno). It is larger than my mi-one, but vapes much the same. I'm a little concerned about the coils being Ni, I've never used that type of wire before. I'm hoping my overly sensitive 34 years of smoking lungs don't react negatively to it. I'm wondering, since the coils are the exact same height and diameter, and the threading is the same, if my AIO coils would work with it. Thoughts?

Thanks again Todd!

Are the coils Ni200 or Nichrome? I can't picture that device uaving TC, and can find no mention of TC anywhere...

I heard a reviewer say it was nichrome. The coil says Ni-CR. Is that nichrome? I hate to sound stupid, but what is the difference?

Ni200 is VERY low resistance. In fact, it's often called non-resistance wire. It's used ONLY for TC. Usingnit in power mode or on unregulated devices can have very bad consequences.

NiCr, on the other hand, is quite stable, relatively low resistance, heats very fast with low voltage, and is quite safe on almost anything.

Your coils, being NiCr, are fine in your device UNLESS you, personally, dislike them :)

Hey Shawn ,

How has the rx75 been holding?

Have you faced any issues with the lock mechanism or screen?

I've had no issues with any of it. Understand that's with only a little use... maybe 8 charges run through it. I like it, though...

Hi green :)

I'm not Shawn, even if I wanted to be..... ;)

but having used three of these (RX75) Rolos, I can say that they have held up incredibly well. I've got one in rotation now, and it's still as it was from Day One.

I'd have to say tho, I did use the lock mechanism - maybe once? I would not recommend using it, as it's a tight little thing, and will most likely lock up at some point, and not release. The screen tho, she is perfection.

An inexpen$ive mod, but one I'd not be without!

Hey Kat :)

Thanks for confirming , I just placed an order of the mod only from sourcemore.com

It's selling for as cheap as $20 .
Gonna order a wud (actual wooden) wrap for it. Looks pretty slick in pics

Whats your solution to keeping the mod from firing in the pocket if you don't use the lock mechanism ?

Also found a few reddit threads on custom firmwares for joyetech / wismec mods . Ever flashed any of your mods with those firmwares?

I use one daily too. I turn it off. Five clicks and it goes in the pocket. Five clicks as it comes out of the pocket and it is ready to vape.

Two in rotation here, OFTEN. Never once used that switch, but I'll five-click it as needed.

LOVE the mods, and Kat just gave one to my stepson who also loves it. $20-30 mod is a steal (IMO).

20 dollarinos?? That's incredible! Good for you, green. What an incredible price for a mod that really has been a sleeper, and to me, is worth a lot more.

Which wud wrap wud (did) you order? Those are rather nice.

I don't have any other solution than what's been mentioned by Ms. pokes and Mr. Longo. 5 off works for me. I tend not to take it and purse toss it too much tho, as it does scratch up fairly easily. But, in truth, I don't find that it's a "self-firer" and that it's all that sensitive. Tho, pocketing it might not apply to that idea.

5 off. :thumb:

Ah, c'mon... ya know ya wanna lol

Thanks everyone, guess I will stick to the 5 click method.

Apologies for the late response, I have been on the road past 2 days.

I wanna pair my Siren 22 with a mod that reduces the height of the tank, so looking forward to receiving the rx75 . Currently I use an aspire nx100 (great mod) but wanted something smaller for when I am out of the house

@Kat , I am torn deciding between the natural and the walnut colour for the wud skin. But will probably make my decision today and place the order :)

I do hope you'll regale us with pics of the one you choose!

As far as the Rolo and Digi combo..... do make sure to clean everything on some sort of regular basis, as the Digi can be a random leakness thing.
I have been posting regularly on the Siren thread , though I have been active on ECF only recently :)

I have not had leaking issues with both my sirens. But will definitely clean things up each time I make a fresh build.

I also use https://fs.tc/p/5501000 to keep my 510 connection free from scratches
