Hi guys! I've been searching for a side-by-side mod to go with an atty, so it can replace my pod for when I go out (when I'm not at home). I started with pods for this, but the vape don't satisfy me and I would them to be rebuildable. So, there is something out there (preferably not high-300€-end) that can take a atty nowadays?

p.s.: i can't find tesla stealths anywhere here in europe, and I can't import from china due to the new regulations :(

Without importing from China your going to be hard pressed for any side by side beater mods. You can try Ivant vape group on Facebook and see if Ivan will make you one of his dna 60s. He makes them in 18350/18500 or 18650. Russmods union stick is also good. I agree with the earlier comments about the XVOstick. Best bet for your money. The mod is liquid tight, extremely well built, and the paint is anodized the same way process as firearms. It’s not a beater, but it’s tough as nails. You can try some of the buy sell trade groups on Facebook too.

It's actually held up better than some of my arms, even if I don't put my mods through the same paces. Point is that the finish is better than anything I've ever seen (not counting ZenKote, which isn't fair to compare anything against), and by a pretty wide margin too.

WELL worth the $150, at least in my obviously biased opinion.

+1 for the Eleak Ikonn Total.
I use 2 exclusively when working. Small size- holds any 22 mm tanks, which are completely protected.
I guess you'd call it semi-regulated: it puts out power based on battery charge- so it will decline as battery runs down. But it does have short protection as well as reverse battery protection.I was concerned alot about that, but its not an issue really. Takes 18650, I usually run it at .3 to .5 ohms. Anything higher than that and it's a pretty weak hit. You can go lower but it's too hot of a vape for me. Price is great (ebay for about $20)
Also has a fire bar, not a button which I really like.

I wouldn’t call that semi regulated. Sounds like a mosfet. Basically a mech with some safety features.

If they had done a regulated version, I'd have been ALL over it. I was tempted even without the regulation, but I learned a long time ago that it simply doesn't work for me.

Nice little mods though - for SURE.

And the Rockwell!

This finish boasts a hardness of 60 according to the Rockwell scale.

I’m honestly still trying to understand that claim. How can the finish on a piece of aluminum have the same hardness rating as the hardened steel of my spyderco?

Heya folks - long time lurker, but I've finally joined the pack. A Tesla Stealth 70W and a Aster RT are my starters, and I have a Knight V1 on the way. Nothing expensive or fancy, at least not yet.

My first Tesla Stealth 70W developed the button issue after a week (loose circuit board blocks the button when the battery is inserted). As it is being replaced, I was wondering if it would be possible to 3D print a version of the Stealth's heavy case and use the (fully functional) internals make a modified ultra-light custom stealth mod. Anyone know where to start with such a project?

Download some easy to use 3D modeling software, get familiar with it, take measurements of the original and duplicate. You could skip that and pay shapeways to do it, but they’ll charge you 300 and up.

I wondered about that "send-away" scanning - thanks for solidly eliminating that choice! I read a little about scanning an object with a phone today, so I'll dig more deeply into that. The way the 510 connection is set up, I may be able to modify it all to hold bigger tanks for a bizarrely unique mod.

Also considered carving a frame out of wood - think it would look neat, but would probably be a lot more work than I'm anticipating.

Just for absolutely nothing, a little stealth look. Xvo (v1) with EHPro True tank. Kinda funny, but definitely stealthy.

As Kat said, a hermetically sealed mod with a never-leak tank; it's also a pretty "safe" little setup. Thanks, KD!!!

Funny you should say that about the wood. I had been considering a build myself for awhile. Finally bit the bullet and started ordering parts and tools I need. I’m sure it could be done with less then I’m picking up, but I figured it never hurts to have these tools around and if I’m going to do it I’m going to do it all the way.

Where did you find a knight v1?
