Not in South Florida!! We have all ages, all sizes, all races & nationalities and all genders here. Men of every age, etc. wear earrings and/or gauges here. Many wear make-up, have male-scaping done, and sundry other things here. I'm sure I can find a fashionista to help you. Might be one of my students, because it certainly can't be me, but it CAN be done!Something tells me that it might take a BIT more than a zip code. Dontchya think?![]()

In this instance, they are things that people put in the piercings in their ears to make the holes larger. They start small and the person wishing to have an extra hole (or holes) in their head slowly increases the size of the gauge to stretch the hole out.Gauges??...guess I am old. I thought gauges were to measure stuff.
I think a zip code can matter a lot. Here you might get arrested trying to p.Something tells me that it might take a BIT more than a zip code. Dontchya think?![]()
I've been caught staring at some of the larger ones. For whatever reason, when I ask questions, which I do since mouth and brain aren't connected, they are very proud of them and quite happy to tell me more than I wanted to know. It's an achievement, taking patience and planning. Why? I've never gotten more than a shrug. Why does anyone get involved in the hobbies they have. I think it's a controllable area with low overhead and freaks out the right people, like parents. It's an identity. Live and let live. They'll keep plastic surgeons in business someday because age and gravity are not kind to big holes or tats.Gauging is to insure there are sufficient holes in their heads. The "standard" issue/count sometimes isn't enough to let the intelligence leak out fast enough.
Initially I thought they were earrings- I'm looking from my phone- they could possibly be guages. Are those earrings or gauges?
EXACTLY!!! The generation gap is spot on. I grew up in a time when earrings, piercings & the like we're unheard of. A man wouldn't be caught dead out in public with an earring- let alone two.Actually, he is dressed (including hair and jewelry) much like the majority of metrosexual professional men. Most of whom are professionals.
I agree that there is a generation gap on whether the look is professional, but joytech did not go out of its way to make this person look "weird" or unapproachable, it is actually the way that the men's fashion magazines and many younger men (35ish and below) present themselves these days.
Thought you might be intrigued by that Egrip II though. I am even though I know it is nothing more than a Cuboid mini tank sitting on top of a lipo w/ a cuboid mini display attached. Anyone tried those cubis coils?Since I'm no Joytech fan, I really don't care about their ad at all. I just don't find a man in a business environment wearing earrings to be particularly appropriate. Again being a stodgy old reprobate that's no wonder at all. From what I remember, it wouldn't be acceptable at any of the companies or Governmental entities I worked at during my life, but times, and norms, sure do change.
Is that how that fool at the local B&M wound up with a hole in his ear the size of a Nickel? Makes me cringe every time I see him. I don't even go in there so I don't have to look at him.In this instance, they are things that people put in the piercings in their ears to make the holes larger. Looked like those cheap black earrings old ladies wear to me.Initially I thought they were earrings- I'm looking from my phone- they could possibly be guage.
I use cubis coils in the Cubis tank. I like them; some people don't.Thought you might be intrigued by that Egrip II though. I am even though I know it is nothing more than a Cuboid mini tank sitting on top of a lipo w/ a cuboid mini display attached. Anyone tried those cubis coils?

Are the TC ones any good? Hear a lot of people saying not to bother with anything but the clapton coils because they aren't worth it.I use cubis coils in the Cubis tank. I like them; some people don't.
I don't know any old ladies who wear cheap black earrings so I couldn't even picture this.
And when I do eventually hit old lady status, I won't be wearing cheap black earrings.![]()

Different strokes for different folks I guess, it just looks cheap to me![]()
I can appreciate the originality of the design but it would have appealed to me more if they machined it out of raw aluminum. I'm not even sure what it is made off but it looks like plastic to me, & I don't like plastic or a plasticy look.
But besides the looks the single 18650 (I prefer build in batteries), the location of the screen and button placement also put me off.
I'm picky I know![]()
And what is this ad featuring the closet cross dresser who forgot to pull his earrings out before heading out to the office? Seriously? What are they thinking?

Too heavy for you?
Lex, thank you. I think I'm fairly convinced that the Sm'Ant would prolly be a bit too heavy for me, but I'm fascinated nonetheless.
I keep staring at one on the Classies. It's VERY tempting.
