Thanks pulled trigger on tesla stealth 70w
Been looking at the Tesla Stealth 70w & a 3rd Hohmtech Slice (loving ability to TC Kanthal & Ceramic coils w/o issue both of which are not truly DNAs forte).

Problem is I'm lining up on 2 more Smoant Knight V2 (Black to replace the stolen one & White for possible DNA60 install) with the FT 10% off Halloween Sale starting tonight & don't know that I can justify the expense of any of it right now.

Yes I will still buy a knight v2.... expect the v2 to go to the front line but what the heck with todays sale the tesla was too good to not grab 1...... I knew I would regret buying 4 knight v1's as back ups of back ups because something new would come out. But the last 2 knights were priced right at 30 bucks....... just don't know what is going to happen with fda but I will be alright.

I have the 40 watt version but have hesitated on the 70 watt due to the fire button placement. For the tiny version it's perfect, but with the height of the 70 it looks like it might require double jointed fingers for say, use while driving. I was wondering if u would share your thoughts on the button placement once it arrives...[emoji106][emoji316]

I don't expect to like the fire button placement after using the knight and xvo....but we will see

Top buttons, especially those at a slight angle, are very comfortable for index finger firing. My favorite button position actually. You might like it a lot.

Pickup up an Envy Plus last week. Have been using an Envy22 for 6 months and really liked it but prefer a replaceable battery. Have had no problems at all with either of them although I only use VW at 20W max. Found a sleeve that I could cut down for it as well. Plan to get another one

Works great...seems well built. The only ....... After using the knight and xvo I don't like the top button

I think I'd be able to adjust to it, just as I adjusted into the Xvo's. I like what Tim does with it - that's an option.

Put it this way, I don't think that the button would be that big of a deterrent if I really wanted it. I've yet to encounter the button that I couldn't adjust to. We're vapers - we adjust.

Tesla... Battery fits very tight. No built in usb charger. When changing battery or atomizer you have to press up button for a atomizer change or down for same atomizer
Great side by side pic. You will revert to the Tesla button as it is a more natural position than the Smoant/XVO. I ended up passing on the Tesla as I wasn't crazy about the styling of the battery door and the fact that the tank well diameter was not as large as the Smoant and only capable of handling 22mm max diameter tank. The Knight V2 Preheat under TC was greatly improved over the V1 so I went with that instead.

How does the Tesla do on TC & Preheat functions? That is essentially using a StarPlatt chip isn't it? Never heard a performance report on one of those.
