Weird thing, the Paramour default TCR setting was 6190. I was not expecting that at all. @BillW50 IIRC correctly you vape TC with your dna mods, can you shed some light - maybe/hopefully? Perhaps? Any thoughts? Thanks.

The TCR range on the Paramour goes from 0500 - 8000. Huh? o_O

At 0500 I got a very weak pee poor vape.
At 1000 it's better but not where it should be.
At 1250 it is much better and more in line with what I get from a dna device or a mod running Arctic Fox.

Looks like you multiply that number by ×10-⁶ to me. So 6190 would be .006190.

Thanks to you both for these very interesting answers.
So it seems you can have an interesting TC vape with the Paramour...
I like that and will seek for one at the best price I can.
Ecf is great !!

I vaped my Dvarw DL FL totally dry with the Paramour running in TCR mode. When I refilled the tank I checked my wick and it's perfectly fine.

I ran at 28 watts and 420°F with a TCR setting of 1150 on the Paramour.

Coil = 26/36 ss316L clapton at 0.5 ohms.

It offers a decent TC vape. I've nearly matched it to the vape I'm getting from one of my DNA mods. Will likely continue playing with the TCR value to satisfy my own curiosity.

Kind of stiff and less of an architectural look than many of the others. If the long slim button is the trigger it wouldn't be that comfortable. I say that from a background of designing lots and lots of buttons and knobs and integrating them into faceplates and control surfaces.

Not very attractive...and very basic chipset without TC.
Price is correct considering the Siren v3 is included with the kit.
I guess in a few months price will drop..
For the time being , the Paramour seems the best offer.
From what I have seen from a test, the Siren 3 does not come with much other than a slightly different post screw compared to the Siren 2. I have three of the Siren 2 and none are in use. So there is really nothing that tempts me from Digiflavor.

Agreed, nothing tempting about Digiflavor.. The only credit I do give them is for starting the trend of budget MTL atties when they launched the Siren v1..

Similarly, the trend of everyone getting into SBS mods is awesome! Can't wait to see what else launches in 2021

I heard back from Mechlyfe regarding the Paramour and TCR.

Here are their recommended TCR settings:

1150 ppm/°C - SS316L
6190 ppm/°C - NI
3140 ppm/°C - TI

Note on ppm/°C: A resistor's Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) tells how much its value changes as its temperature changes. It is usually expressed in ppm/°C (parts per million per degree centigrade) units.

Anyone have much info on the Rebel Mods version of a SBS? Its a 21700 and the site says it can fit a 25mm atty. Ive seen videos on youtube on past mods by Rebel and that the doors and 510's are not the best quality.

The price is pretty high on this. 199 pounds for the Ally Black. A couple cool things I like is that you can get different color doors and buttons. And I really like where the button is placed. Kinda like a billet box.

At first glance I thought it was a new tiny volcano - I like that design a lot but idk, very few of these 3-d printed mods seem justifiable to me...

Similar Question/Inquiry on another SBS I am interested in: the TEK Horizon....
Anyone have any Intel on whether the Horizon will accept the following without issue:
1. Taifun GT IV (not the IV "S"-23mm) with 2 knurled Rings on it's Base that are ever so slightly larger Dia. than the overall 25mm?
2. Kayfun v5 squared with similar slightly larger Dia. Base protrusion?

Actually think prefer (for my own subjective desires) the TEK Horizon over the Dani SBS.

Any Input greatly apprec.

and THAT's all I'm gonna say 'bout that.... ;)

Anywhooz,,, Already locked-on, pulled the trigger, and began procurement on a diff SBS that "should" (@99% positive) will accommodate the GT IV which has already landed at the gates of Ft. Vape awaiting its proper Conveyance :thumb:

I don't think Mr. @Hitcat44 is particularly fond of that which Bill Belichick once referred to as, "SnapFace".
