I used the Serenity gear sleeves all the time, none of them had any kind of lanyard attachment, I did not like the idea of hanging one around my neck. This picture shows some of them, for some reason I think I have more then this picture shows. :|

You have a far larger stash of both PV's and Serenity Gear than I acquired. Your collection makes for an impressive display of both. The PV's didn't get it done for me and were short lived in my vaping routine. So sleeves were also not bought in quantity.

I appreciated the Provari's for quality, safety and precision workmanship. I kept them and now they keep my daughter on the straight and narrow. However, for me, it was the REO with an RM2 that got me off cigarettes.

Yeah, my goal back then was to get one of each of the metallic finish's, (no paint) I had seen too many that the paint had rubbed off. I think I used those for around 4 years, after that I got the Radius's, which I still use today. :|

Yes, much later. I joined in 1989 and went through 6 months of training to be a Patriot missile system mechanic. Not long after I went to my permanent duty station, the gulf war started and I was sent on an advance party to Saudi Arabia. It was nine months there before we got rotated out with fresh troops.

Thank you for your service.
I was an AT (Aviation Electronics Technician) on jet and turbo prop aircraft systems that finished up my tour of duty in an Attack Squadron (VA-56) with 15 A-7B Corsair II's. When I was assigned to them they were just finishing up a 7+ month WestPac at Yankee Station in Vietnam on the USS Ranger CV-61, and after the turn around stateside at NAS Lemoore embarked on another 7 month WestPac on the USS Midway CV-41 in early April 1971.
Midway at sea enroute to Vietnam, and A-7B 401 at NAS Astugi, Japan (both 1971).

And thank you for your service. Just curious, did your military experience land you a job in the civilian world?

I ended up as an electrician and welding inspector.

No doubt a Reo/RM2 combo did the same for a heck of a lot of folks. I was not addicted to nic when I quite smoking before I had ever even heard about vaping. That said, after the Provari's and after the 11 VapourArt GP PAPS I acquired 37 Reo's that were and still are my all time favorite mods. Around 2.5 years ago I switched to mesh squonk atty's and mesh RTA's ONLY on those of them that I still used the most, 5 P67's, and on 22 other mech or regulated mods.

It would have. I was offered a lush sand crab job with the Navy in that field that I turned down, and years later had three aircraft companies that would have hired me in Tucson, AZ if I would move there (I wouldn't). I trusted my knowledge and abilities to make my own way in my working lifetime anyplace, so we lived where ever we wanted to live when I was married for thirty five years. Eighteen years later (and thirty years retired) I still do as a bachelor.

Kind of funny, I was prepared for nothing civil or civilian but...I came back, went to college, law school, [not smart enough for medical school] and vowed never to have anyone ever tell me again what to do, when to do, or how to do. I hung a shingle and ran my own shop, did Okay. Married the prettiest, most talented girl in Kentucky and forty years later at seventy-five, still a happy man. And still working about half time.

in 2013 I think I first bought a Blue. Fairly useless but I could see the possibilities (the ex wanted me to quit smoking) so I ventured into a vape shop and they set me up with a VV pen mod (with uUSB charge port on the side) still have with itsybitsy tiny tank and even smaller coils. (still have that as well) While the vape was dismal to todays standards it was enough to get me to stop smoking.

I ventured into Evods (still have some) and later upgraded to VV replaceable battery (18350) tube mods with Nautilus tanks (I actually still do have a Nautilus still in service). Then came Atlantis tanks and mixing my own unflavored juice. That was all in my first 6mo of vaping.

Then came my first TC mod, the Kanger subtank Mini, countless different RTA's and mods that I can't keep track of or recall.

I still have that VV pen mod sitting on my desk with a tank on it. I should charge it up and fill it with some salts and see how far I've come. :)

EDIT: I just added batteries to both these mods and they did surprisingly well!

(10W on the left and 12W on the right. Both with 18350's)

I used to vape on the VV battery with the Kanger tanks. I would have about 8 or so in rotation. I thought the batteries were rather dull looking so I would bling them up with colored glitter nail polish. I wish I still had one of those gaudy things for old times sake, but I cleared away all my old stuff when I moved.

I found a couple aspire k1 clearos in a box the other day brand new and unopened. Not sure I’d ever want to use them.
I've picked up a handful of Aspire K-Lite tanks as a top fill platform for the pile of BVC's I snagged. I may drop to 1.8 ohms one day lol.

Those are still decent clearos, IMO, especially for use on smaller, pretty stealthy set-ups.

The K1 is what I got started with! If you like really restricted air flow its a good little clearomizer.

what I use today on the left and on the right is the setup that I used to quit smoking back in the day.

The one on the right is an Aspire Maxi

Yep, I like restricted MTL. Favorite tanks now are the various Zeniths and favorite RTAs are the original Vandy Vape Berserker full size ones.

I was also going to comment on the clearo on the right in your pic. Was going to say my Aspire K-1 clearos don't look like that at all, so it must be a different one. ;)

As someone else pointed out, it is a Aspire Maxi. It uses the same coils as the K1. (I think the Maxi was the less expensive alternative to the K1) You can still get coils for them from Fasttech! :)

While these clearomizers are still vapeable, I like a much much more airly/open and unrestricted draw these days. Pictured on the left is a ShenRay TF GT4 RTA 25mm and a good example of what I like to vape on now.

I still use these Aspire clearos that take the BVC coils, because I like a light, MTL vape at 7-9W now and then to satisfy my hand-to-mouth addiction wiothout wasting a lot of juice. But I don't buy coils for them anymore. I use a tiny RBA.

I rebuilt a K1 atomizer once. Surely not for the faint at heart. :) After that exercise I decided that there was way better and easier stuff to be working on. (I do own tiny RBA's for the Nautilus and Atlantis).

The stuff available in 2014 was pretty good stuff as compared to earlier stuff. Its funny to think that the 'clearomizer' was a major step up from what people were using before.

    ('cartomizers' and other sundry things...)
