Another oldie from the UK (c.1/2014)... a Zapper V2. I was told that they were very scarce then so I was lucky to get a brand new one. It's was used to make NR-R-NR ready wires for my 7 By Leo flow control Sophia's that I used to run Euro carto tanks with instead of cartos (VapourArt SnP's, By Leo Slim and Cage tanks, KirFanis Prive Special's for ProVari's, and custom Phiniac's, etc to use on my Provari's). The V2 cost about $100US from the UK, and made me a lifetime of ready wires in less than 2 hours. It was not a great investment though as those 2 hours was the only use it got before being retired to one of the no longer used vape gear storage boxes because the Provari's, their tanks, accessories, tools, etc were also short lived in my active vaping kit.

Didn't a few people cook their motherboards with those back in the day? Chain vaping mini-cloud blowers, no doubt.:D

Yeah... They kinda had Short lived popularity.

Because as you said, having your $125 MB go up in smoke Wasn't such a great trade off to being able to Chain Vape at your Desk.

I plugged one in my car. Never shorted out my car's circuits. That old truck is still running today.

    Does anyone Remember these...

Yep. I bought one but didn't use it much... tossed it in the 'wast of money storage box'.

Did use this Provaril PassThru kit for a short while before I stopped using the Provari's. This one was a LOT of wasted money... ProVape was REAL PROUD of this kit and the block stands.

I had a car charger for my 180mAh cigalikes from SmokStick and a very nifty PCC--those came "in a variety of shapes and sophistication." Mine was extremely sophisticated.

Thanks for sharing the pictures @pdib.

My first favorite Reos were the Tumbled Raw Aluminum... I really liked the feel of them and their simple beauty.

I had quite smoking both my pipes and cigs before I heard of this thing called vaping when I saw an ad on the TV for Blu cigalikes. So I did some research online about vaping and decided to try it.

This is the very first vape gear I bought and tried vaping on in early 2013, Halo G6 button fire batts with mini tanks. The gear was a fail, I soon learned that MTL gear was just not my thing. But it peeked my interest enough to almost immediately dive into 18XXX battery mech tube mods/atomizers, and ordering all the supplies/lab gear needed to start making my own DIY liquids WITHOUT nic in them.

At least one, maybe two - I still have Protanks, brand new in the box!!

I still USE my orginal protanks LOL :)

Just cant kill them and they look and work well on my ancient Provari's.

I still also have my ancient vamo. Still works though I can only use it in 18650 mode since one of the tubes is stuck.

Someone mentioned Sophia's. I still have half a dozen Diver's (same concept) and the carto tanks to put them in. I always wanted a Sophia and the special built tank to put it in but just never managed it. At the time investing in REOs seemed a smarter way to go.

I did something similar except instead of a power brick it was a small USB Solar charger and I was charging EGO batteries. Came in real handy in the aftermath of a hurricane. But it took all day to charge one battery.

It's fun to revisit gear we've had tucked away for years! Most of it it still enjoyable for me to fire up from time to time.
After being off of one, seems like I can't go back easily. Seems like I can finally taste the filler in the cartos, and my naughty tank tastes funny also.

Not as old as the others I've posted, but it's another oddity I have that raised a big stink at the time that you might find interesting... my SS first run Hellvape Iron Maiden 30mm RDTA that is/was highly collectible (I saw one sell for $500 way back when).

    IM S.jpg

A note from my supplier telling me what the stink was...

    0 IM StoryE.jpg

He charged me $38 plus shipping for it with the extra ring. I assume folks who were Iron Maiden fans were the ones that wanted the first run tanks enough to pay high prices for them.

And what the mass produced run tanks looked like with the font change.

    0 IM The RDTA Sold.jpg

I bought it for my Athena Pride DNA75 Stabwood TC, but it didn't fit on it. So I never used it and it's still new in the box stored away in a box someplace.
