Dude, I clicked "like", but the only suitable click was really the big red X!!!...that stuff was such garbage!! It's amazing how far we've come in such a short time

I liked it for quite a while. When I got it right, which I found difficult, nothing could beat it. It would last a long long time. RM2 with Ready-X-Wick, REO Grand - good stuff.

Another buy from 2013 that wasn't worth the around $50 it cost, a carto punch. I think I only punched 2-3 carto's with it before I realized that cartos were not my thing. So it and boxes of cartos were added to one of my first of the endless other retired boxes that followed it. I bought big into the rebuildable flow control By Leo Sophia's for my tanks instead (around $600 for 7 of them IIRC) .

Some other punches I have pictures of from that same year that might ring a bell for some of you...

Still have 12 BRICKS of cartos, (That's 600 cartos) and a good ole "saddle valve" ($3.50 from Lowes) to punch them.

Anyone else remember buying a brick of cartos for the first time, and sitting down to FILL them all :shock: Ever have a TicTac box to carry spare cartos?

I never did enjoy the carto's, I did try them around the time I got my first Pro-tank. I was really into the V1 Sophia's though, I even bought one of those zappers to join the 2 types of wire. I think I used them for about a 1 1/2 years or so, I did not like the Sophia V2 though, it was a PIA to build on. I really should dig out some of that old stuff and try it again. :|

Shortie cartos on a MINI REO w/14500.....heaven for me. Right before that, Vapage bottom feeder with cartos, too. IDEAL for me.

Never really enjoyed anything as much before, or afterwards.

Early VV stick batts, like Joyetech Twist, and a T3 type clearo were pretty good, too.

Honestly, I think I"m one who "vaping modernity" left behind.

JCinFLA is 100000% correct. Some of us would still be vaping old school if only we could easily get supplies.

The Blu has been the Recipient of much Hate on the ECF. But to be Honest, It was maybe my Favorite e-Cigarettes.

what was that eliquid flavor they used that everyone was crazy about, but was so proprietary that practically nobody could match the taste when they stopped making it? I just remember the product chasing going on over that one.....

Are you carto lovers (and haters) talking about cartomizers that you put on the end of a cigalike or the cartos you put inside of a carto tank?

I did neither. I hated carto tanks. And cigalikes. I used the shorty unpunched cartos in my REO and Vapage bottom feeders.

Never had a V2 Sophia @kas122461. The V1 Sophia's got me by for a while on the By Leo Cage and Slim tanks, Kir Fanis Prive Special tanks, VapourArt SNP tanks, custom Phiniac tank, etc. But they didn't satisfy my vaping style, nor did the Provari mods that I ran them on. So all atty's and all the PV mods with all of their endless accessories were all retired early on.

I too bought and still have a Zapper V2 to make ready wires with. But because for something over $100 plus shipping from the UK, my making enough ready wires to last me for a couple of years in one evening... and never using it again it was not worth the price of admission for my uses. I could have bought premade ready wires by the 100 for just a few dollars. I didn't use anywhere near 100 of the ones that I made, so the ones that I did use probably cost me around $3 apiece.

Zapper V2... Sometime in very early 2014 I took the batteries out of mine, put it in it's box and away somewhere here and have not seen it since. Yes, I have storage places with vaping gear in them around here that I have not revisited for years. IOW, out of sight, out of mind.

Yeah I did not really make and use enough coils to justify the Zapper either, I have not had mine out for years either, I think that is the same one that I have. :|

The V2 was the only model of them that I ever knew about. But it suggests there must have been at least a V1 anyway. I also seem to remember that when I bought my V2 from MEV MODS in the UK in very early February 2014, they told me it was one of the last V2's still available. So that also suggests they were no longer being made by then.

Carto's on cigalikes got me off cigs very easily and quickly over 10 yrs ago, so they hold a special place in my heart. Carto's in tanks which I adored and still do were/are awesome for me!
