Hey, guys and gals!

Lost my Koopor Mini with TFV4, which I really liked (fell out of my pocket in a taxi), so looking for something portable to replace it. Sick and tired lugging an X Cube II around...

I've been out of loop, so to speak, for a couple of months and could use some suggestions.

So far I'm looking at either Snowwolf Mini or VTC Mini, or getting another Koopor Mini.
I really like the aesthetics of the Snowwolf and from what I've gathered(reviews & teardown on YouTube), it has a solid build quality and functions quite well, save for Ti TC being a tad off. Somewhat of a con is lack of firmware updates and no support for SS coils (in TC I mean).
VTC Mini seems to OK-ish too, while I haven't seen any teardown videos, I've read praises about it's screen and that TC is working... also, the price tag is lower than the SWM, which is sort of a plus.

Price does play a role, I'm afraid. As much as I'd love having an SX Mini ML Class, it's way out of my budget. That being said, what do you think guys?

P.S.
Ah, yes, normally vaping in the .2 - .25 region, dual Ti coils, 20/80 DIY. Mod will be paired with an UD Bellus.

Well, the kits seem to be a total waste of money, tbh. Most of them have tanks which I would classify as sub-par (for my needs anyway). Small capacity, no RBA deck. SMOK has a X Cube II Mini now, but I really dislike the firing button. Awkward to press and after a couple of months it starts failing. Well, at least on my XCII it does. Top part gets jammed and it keeps firing after you've released it. Only solution I've found so far is making sure I don't apply more pressure to top, than I do on the bottom. Although I guess taking it apart and changing the spring could solve this.

Balrog seems to be on pre-order for now, at least in the places I've looked. Also, I haven't actually checked the specs on it. Guess that's an option I could consider, since I've loved every Youde product I've had. :)

Any first hand experience with the VTC Mini @Clydde26?

I'm using a YouDe Balrog kit now and it's a nice little kit for the price. The draw on the tank with the 1.8-ohm atomizer is on the firm side by today's standards. I do wish it had stainless-steel temperature-control though. If SS isn't an issue for you, I played around with the Asmodus Minikin last week and was surprise by how small it is for a dual-18650 mod.

No personal experience with the vtc mini but I hear nothing but good things about them. The interface is amazing and firmware update to 75 watts makes it a very strong mini. Lots of people claim to have more than one once they pick it up so that should say something about it.

i own a mini before (upograde to the rx,has nothing to do with the mini thou)

the vtc mini is smaller than the xcube mini or the snowwolf,if i remember right..or atleast my hands do :)

good solid device.

you get adjustable tcr as well if you are into tc stuff
only down side is you have to keep spare batts with you if you are out and about or atleast a powerbank..
:)

other than that its a solid device, thinking of getting another one actually

I have one major gripe about TFV4 and if the Micro is the same, there is noooo way I'm getting near that thing. The RBA deck of TFV? I hope the person who decided to use that particular deck design, is banished to the coil-building hell and forced to re-coil said RBA deck over and over for the rest of the eternity...

To everyone else, thanks for the input! I guess VTC Mini it is then, even though it doesn't look as pretty-pretty as the SWM does! :)

EDIT:
As for the need to carry spare batts, that's a no issue. I always do anyway. The only time that bothered me, was when I just got my TFV4 with stock tri-coil in it. I used my Koopor Mini to drive it, at the max 65W. Yeah... I could go through like four batteries a day, heh.
