Hey y'all I'm wanting to try out a Zenith mtl tank to replace my egoOne v2 since I can no longer get the CLR coils and am not willing to rebuild them.

I mainly want recommendations on which online stores are the best to purchase the tank/coils from. I've been out of the loop for a few years and the store I always purchased my CLRs from doesn't carry the Zenith.

Also wondering if anyone knows if the pmta is gonna have any impact on the availability of the Zenith tanks or coils in the near future? I'd hate to try it and like it and purchase more just to find out they're extinct. I appreciate any help.

@mcgatson - The Zenith tanks are my all-time favorite drop-in coil tanks. They're extremely easy to use, allow you to dial in your preferred airflow, and they're not leakers! The coils usually last me between 11-14 days each, too!

There are several US vendors who still sell the full-size 4mL ones, fewer that sell the D22 verison (3mL), and the little D22 2mL ones are usually only sold in a kit with a mod and the tank.

What most people have done, as far as any tanks and coils that are their favorites...is to really stock up on them for the future. With the uncertain outcomes of any PMTAs that may have been filed...we're not taking any chances that what we want for the future will be available.

I'll do some poking around at some of the usual places that have had the tanks and other places, and see what I can find. My goal is to find the lowest prices on vape stuff when comparing as many vendors as possible. :)

Vape Crawler will show you a list of vendors who have specific items, but...they're only the vendors who pay a fee to have their items & prices shown on Vape Crawler. ALL vendors who have the items, some even at lower prices, aren't on there.

@mcgatson - OK, after going through 7 pages of Google search results....the lowest price from a US vendor, for the full-size 4mL Zenith tank ($22.95) is found at Rock Bottom Vapes, here in Florida. They're a reputable vendor that I've purchased from in the past a few times. They have 4 colors available - SS, Black, Blue, and Red

Innokin Zenith MTL Tank

Each tank comes with (1) 1.6ohm coil and (1) 0.8ohm coil. So, using those should give you a good idea if you like the tank well enough or not...to buy more of the coils. Then you can check out various vendors for them at the best price.

The main vendor that many of us have bought the Zenith/Z-Coils from is KangerWholesaleUSA.com. They're also located in Florida. Their price for them has run between $6.10/box - $7.20/box in the past few years. They sold out of the 1.6ohm and 0.8ohm coils several weeks ago, but they're supposed to get more according to what I was told by 1 of their employees. The 1.6ohm coils are one of the most popular ones, but others like the 0.8ohm, and the newer 1.2ohm ones, too.

Link to them is below for future reference. You need to register to be able to see the prices. Anyone can buy from them, not just wholesale buyers.

Innokin Zenith Replacement Coil - 5PK

Lots of other vendors have the coils, but their prices are a minimum of $2-4/box higher than KangerWholesale's prices. Kanger's S/H starts at $9.99 though, and free S/H kicks in at $75 order or more. So, many of us would buy 13 boxes at a time for our "stash"... to get the free S/H.

@JCinFLA Thank you so much for all of your help. I just placed an order for 4 tanks from Rock Bottom Vapes, 2 for me and 2 for my wife. I should have them by the end of the week.

I'd like to get a jump on stockpiling coils but I'd hate to pick the wrong one without testing them out. I currently use the .5 ohm CLR coils so I'm assuming the .8 Z coils will be my goto but I should probably wait. Hopefully that gives KangerWholesale more time to get some in stock, that price is a steal!!

Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for all of your help.

You're very welcome. I enjoy helping people find what they're looking for and at the lowest price. I hope you and your wife will like your Zeniths.

Yea...I'd wait if I were you, until you both get to try out the different coils to see which 1 is more to your liking. Some people have at first thought they'd prefer a certain one...but changed their minds when actually trying both. Most of them had waited though, to order coils in quantity, after they'd tried them first. However, others didn't. Luckily, many of them were able to find other people who'd done the same thing, and they gladly swapped with them. :)

Great help and advice so far and I do agree with @JCinFLA about hanging fire with the coils til you've tried out the two that come with the Zenith.

The other thing about those coils is that many folk find they can need to run through a tank or two til the real flavour develops: the coils though can have a long life - vaping clear menthol liquid at between 8 -10 watts I can get up to six weeks on one coil.

Most people prefer the 0.8 coils....I have tried them all ofc...when I tear them apart I saw that the 0.8 coil wire splits Soo it's basically 2 small wires that end up in one wire at the edges and I guess that's why most people get more flavour from those and myself also???...the 1.6 also good and some people say they are best for salts and high pg juice but I can't verify that...for 70vg that I was using the 0.8coil was the best in terms of durability and flavour and also the 0.5 mesh was good but didn't last much and was more airy....the 0.8 coil has a 2mm air hole Soo it was working very nice with the outside airflow ring at 2holes.....I don't like veeeeery tight mtl

Yeah you're definitely right we'll give them a good testing over the weekend and go from there.

Thank you, that's good information to have. They shipped today and since they're only coming from Florida I should get them fairly quick. I figure I'll give them a thorough run through this weekend and should be ready to go coil shopping next week.

I use 60pg myself which has always seemed to work better with the lower ohm coils that I've tried before. That's why I'm pretty sure that the 0.8 will be what I prefer but as @JCinFLA and @Falconeer suggest I need to wait and see. Heck I remember rocking a 2.8 on my ViviNova back in the day and loving it.

I agree I don't like a very tight vape at all. I burn them up to quick when I get vape happy.

Yeap ofc u will test and u can try all 6 coils available if it's possible... (Ok not all cause the 1ohm dl coil is bad...its made from different material and also it's a bit larger and pushes the oring in zlide and deform it) I mean cause of what's going on at the states :(
I forgot to mention that only 1.6 and 0.8 coils use 100% organic cotton...the others use a mix of cotton with wood pulp....just saying u can see the specs here maybe u saw already

No I hadn't seen that already, thank you. From what I see on that chart I'll try to stick with the 1.6 or 0.8 unless I'm not happy with either. Organic cotton just sounds better to me than the cotton and wood pulp blend

They've been out of stock for quite a while. I wonder if they are going to stay in business. Have you heard anything?

I've tried most of them--I think I prefer the 1.6Ω ones for my vaping style, but .8 and 1.2Ω ones are fine too. I wouldn't worry about wood pulp--it's just cellulose, just like rayon. It has better heat resistance than cotton.

I ordered the last ones I bought from them, on August 25th. After placing my order, they still had more than 120 boxes of the 1.6ohm and more than 160 boxes of the 0.8ohm. IIRC I'd posted when they'd gotten them back in stock, which was shortly before August 25th. They sold out of both of those ohms within the next week or so then.

According to what Nick from KW has said...they plan to stay in business as usual and will keep getting stock from China.

ETA: I just spoke to Andy at KW. He said they should be getting more within the next 2 weeks. He's going to give me a call when he's notified with an expected delivery day.

@mcgatson @Katya - Just got notified that the Zenith coils in 0.8ohm and 1.6ohm are back in stock, in limited supply. They have 330 boxes of the 1.6ohm and 250 boxes of the 0.8ohm available as of right now, at $6.10/box.
Dadgummit I didn't check this until just now and they're already out of the 0.8 lol. I went ahead and bought 5 boxes from Direct Vapor at $8.95 each but at least my shipping was free . That should give me time to let them get more in stock.

Well...Dadgummit is right! When I tagged you Wednesday night about them being back in stock, and saw the available quantity getting less and less since then...I thought you'd probably gotten some of those that were sold. Their Zenith coils do go pretty fast once they're back in stock, especially if someone (umm...) posts in a few threads that they have them again.

IIRC, there IS a place on the Zenith coils page, for you to request an email notification if/when they get more in stock. You might want to do that, and as soon as it comes...jump in there and get what you want quickly.
