There^^^, I believe. I posted it in this thread yesterday morning.

Cheers,
Steve
Thanks. I'm waiting for the new snake skin colors. I have the black carbon fiber with the multi color snake skin. I want to order the full red snake, but not avail yet.

Yeah, I want that red, too, @RayRay69 , but don't think they'll be coming out with the covers only with the snake skin, that's why I'm toying with picking up a silver one with that cover. I have silver tanks that deserve a Therion, too. ;)

EDIT: My battery covers are marked as 'shipped' already. :)

I hope they end up selling the Snakeskin covers separately but I don't think that's the plan. I think with them being Ltd Ed, they are only going to be available on a new mod. The Ltd Ed Italian leather was never available separately. Like I said, I hope that won't be the case but I think for now that's the way it is.

I think the reason it's like that is because in the end lost vape wants to sell mods. I haven't been told this by LV, but when I was talking to WNY, I was told the Snakeskin covers weren't going to be available, at least for now.

PS How do you like the Africa Select in person? That would probably be my next purchase if I was to buy another Therion (that or the Dark Blossom). If you don't like it, I have an extra Vivarium cover if you want to make a trade :D  (I got it in a trade).

Cheers,
Steve

Love it! It's real nice looking in person when it's shining in the sun. The blue, purple and orange goes real nice, makes the mod pop. Still subtle enough with the black throughout the skin though.

Yup, it's amazing the difference that board makes. I was a little leery my first DNA mod too. I liked my "regular" stuff. Now I've got like 5 of them around as I can't vape in TC on anything else. I do use other mods like an Alien and its little brother, but only in watt mode as TC, even if sorta OK, just isn't the same.

Like anything there's a place for both styles of mods, and I really wouldn't want to give up either as there are times a wattage box is all that's needed, and other times for TC. But yeah, you get real spoiled after good TC. Wait until you throw those nice SS Claptons in and see how smooth that vape is like.

Thanks I'm trying to find a tfv12 dual RBA deck but can't seem to find one that's not 20$ to ship from China

Well, that sucks. Any thoughts to a dedicated RTA? I know the RBA for that is supposed to be decent sized, but I've yet to find an RBA as easy to build on as a dedicated deck (well, maybe the tfv12 is, as I've never tried it).

I think he meant RTA's (rebuildable tank atomizers) like an Aromamizer Supreme. That's what I mainly use.

I tend to think if you are going to build it, by an atty that was made specifically for that purpose. If I was to buy a TFV12 it would be to use store heads. It's just the way I think. If I want to build, I'm buying a RTA (I only build by the way, can't remember the last time I bought a pre-made coil/head). I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Sub Tanks, it's just I prefer to build.

Cheers,
Steve

for a nice introduction the world of RTAs, check out an OBS Engine. Top air, top fill, so no leaking at all (may be an advantage to you being on the road so much. Big Velocity deck that's simple to build on and wicking is really hard to screw up. Great flavor, good cloud, and ~$30 or less (MVS has it at $26.95 right now). It's my standard Therion topper.

Thanks I'll get that one.

I just got the Therion 166 the other day and I started to have a problem with it last night. It was vaping fine in SS316 TC mode but then the coil started heating up way faster than normal. It was reading at .43 which my other mod and ohm reader read the coil at. But when I switched the Therion to power mode, the coil was reading at .52.

I unlocked the resistance in SS316 and let it cool down. It still read the resistance at .43. Temp protection still comes on very quickly at the same watt settings I use in power mode. It vapes fine in power mode.

Sometimes I have similar issues. Base resistance gets high and vape becomes too warm.

I first encountered this with Tafun GT3. Easy fix was required. I just had to unscrew (1 turn) 510 pin from atomizer as it was not making a good connection with the mod. Escribe is great for diagnostics. :D If resistance changes when you turn the tank, it means connection is bad and pin needs to be longer.

Similar issues I have with my quite new Rose 3. Today morning something happened/moved within the tank. Popping like when atomizer gets flooded and some kind bad smell, like when hair gets burned. But strangely, after inspection deck was dry and everything looks OK. Rose is a nice tank, but its a PITA. Deck turns, when not wicked to perfection, it can leak trough 510 pin... I installed 2 o'rings between bottom insulators to prevent leaking, but when I figure out how to wick the damn thing and to stop deck to turning, o'rings will go out. As they are far away from the coil I doubt I can melt them, but if there is a chance I'm inhaling some rubber fumes, it's a no-no

Either way, after couple of months with Therion I realized that when there is a problem, mod is the last thing to blame. It is a precise device any imperfections with the tank will be revealed.

My Therion is doing something like this too. I mainly use 2 Tanks. Smok Big Baby Beast and Uwell Crown II. I have no issues with my Big Baby but with my Crown II the .50 coil always reads between .60-.64. The Therion gives me the OHMs to high reading but still works fine. I have tried multiple different coils and 3 different Crown IIs on it, and the same thing happens. I have it on the SS316 setting and even went into escribe and set the resistance. Only tank that gives me this issue. Very weird. No idea why.

Yeah it's gotta be my wicking or something with the tank. I'm not having any problems right now on my other tank which is a Merlin RTA.
