I'd say you're well on your way!

Yeap tried that and it just cycles through the menu. Thanks for the suggestion. I went all through the manual and the only thing to do is turn it off.

Odd that they'd choose to delete a lock feature, other than power off. And then there's the SVD2, which has the lock, but you can not turn it off.

Those zmax minis arrived the other day.
Soooo worth the $3.99 each !
Glad I splurged :)

Spend thrift! Remind me, where did you get them at that price. Not that I shopping for any, just curious. Still have this batch in storage for the 'old days'.

Hola .. :)

I've had a persistent dry cough now for a few months .. finally went in and had my DR take a look/listen on Monday .. it seems that the many years I spray painted and airbrushed without breathing protection (years ago, I did eventually start using a respirator) .. combined with the Vape (in his opinion), is what has created the issue .. my DR insisted I quit the Vape tout suite .. it's been tough ..

For those of you that offered me some Free Vape Gear, I appreciate it very much but, I'm going to do my best to follow DR's orders .. so, I must, respectfully, decline .. but your kind offers were very nice .. :)

The "collapsed lung / vaping hospitalizations" that have been all over the News have not helped my normal Paranoia, either ..

Whether I can stay Nicotine Free for any real period of time, we'll see ..

This scenario does not change anything as far as my Thread Participation at all .. it's just another Speed Bump I have to deal with ..

Hi all

UW--- have you tried not inhaling? I have started to do that and dont find any withdrawal symptoms or adverse effects other that my lungs feeling a bit lighter and its a bit easier to breathe. It wasnt really hard before but just wanted to give my lungs a rest for a bit. I feel i am still getting my nic dose as most of the nic is absorbed in the mouth and nose. Just a thought to help you transition away from what is possibly the cause of your cough. Good luck.

:)

Hadn't really thought of that .. it would be tough to do, for me anyway, since inhalation is like an automatic reflex .. I did buy a pack of SNUS packets for emergency purposes ..

It was kinda tough for me too at first. You just need to tell yourself before you vape and be aware of each toke. It becomes easier with time.

No, not at all related to the previous many years of smoking...

Seems most (all) recent "vape" related illnesses are due to "vaping" illegal street, uh, purchases. NOT nic.

You are correct its not the nic but it could be the flavors we use. I have found that over time I needed to reduce the amount of flavoring i was using. Not strickly for taste but for how harsh they can become on your throat.

I think since I've been off the smokes now for better than 8 years (other than the 4 I bummed at various times .. o_O) .. and the fact that the dry cough was a relatively recent development, Doc was really looking for what suddenly brought it on .. he unchecked the smoker question in my file years ago ..

I was always under the impression that it was the nic that provided the throat hit .. ?? No .. ??

Recent research has also indicated that vaping WITHOUT nic causes some short-term reduction in circulation. If it is valid, then I am glad I quit before my BC. Getting good circulation in the skin which is pulled over a water-balloon can be a tricky issue.

I am getting a dog, should reduce the urge even more. Now, whenever I get the urge, it is transformed into sucking on my water-bottle. Once I get my little boy, soft fur will ease my discomforts. This will be his third home, so he is a bit shy. We will be isolating the first month, to reassure him that I will not be leaving him.
