'Afternoon everyone...

Hey @yiddleboge6, I was down at my local bank taking care of business Tuesday. As I was leaving I noticed a display triangle that was near the exit door. On the display were 9 paintings by local artists. Have you checked your local businesses to see if they have anything similar for showcasing local artist?

Thank you... I won't be looking for anyplace to display until I've amassed at least a small body of work in big enough sizes to interest anyone. There aren't many businesses of any kind in the small borough that I live in. I would do better to look in the more trendy area around where my Daughter resides.

Yeah, I've seen the same DR for, I think, around 15 years .. I think he does a great job and I trust his advice .. Although WebMD is a great source of info, as is the Mayo Clinic site, personally, and I know it's probably just me, I believe these sites are kind of like being your own Attorney .. .. combined with my normal lifelong Paranoia causes me to sink into a quagmire of "What If's" when doing a deep dive into Internet Medical Info ..

That's not to say that others may find these sites very helpful ..

Me Too - I Agree . . . However, I still check them out just to make sure and because I usually learn something new . . . Plus it is almost like taking a magazine into the bathroom with you, Ya' know it's only to take your mind off of "Stuff" and to make it a little easier for Ya' in the long run . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Yeah, I've seen the same DR for, I think, around 15 years .. I think he does a great job and I trust his advice .. Then sometimes I'll do a quick scan about the new med on one of those sites. But if I read about every side effect, I'm start worrying if I'll get any of them and wind up with 95% of 'em. Better for me to wait and see how my body reacts and if something odd / weird starts happening then I'll check into it.

Yeah .. I don't know how it is in other States, but I seem to get what I would call a mini-booklet with every 'script, including ones I've had for a good long time .. and, yes, reading up on whatever just seems to increase my level of tension about this and that ..

That's tied to my refusal to take any of the so-called over the counter stuff that's purported to be good for you, as located in the "Vitamins and Supplements" isle .. because, who knows what works OK with what .. ??

Nope...not New Hope or Doylestown. West Reading/Wyomissing...where Taylor Swift grew up...

Afraid I don't have enough self-confidence to go up against the competition in a New Hope juried event.... Doing any of those kind of shows will have to wait until I can afford to do them. The old adage of "It takes money to make money" really applies. Been there, done that when I sculpted...

I have access to sites listing nearly every Art and Craft show in the US, and the marketing advice to have one really large painting as a centerpiece for my booth. The size making it not as likely to sell, but will draw people in to look at the rest.

Oh my goodness, what a cute little guy! I love that you rescued him from the pound. Puppies are adorable, but so much work! It takes a lot of patience or energy to train them. I always said that if we got another dog it would be an older one so we could just get on with being friends. Dogs are such wonderful companions.

This reminds me, have you ever read A Dogs Purpose? It's a wonderful book.

This reminds me, have you ever read A Dogs Purpose? It's a wonderful book.

It is also out in a movie. I have it on my DVR but haven't watched it yet.
A disadvantage to vaping. Today is my daughters birthday and for her birthday dinner, she wants my smoked ribs and Jalapeno poppers. Yesterday, we went to Sam's and picked up 2 packages of ribs and she will go out to the local Mexican store and get fresh Jalapeno peppers. Anyway, I came outside and started getting the smoker ready and the butane lighter had bit the dust. I spent 15 minutes digging through drawers and toolboxes before I found another lighter to start the fire.
