But, it sure is nice to have hundreds of books that fit in your purse wherever you go!

We bought our first Kendle when Nancy started down the road to cancer procedures. I bought it because she was worried she would not be able to carry her books. As I loaded the books she wanted, it was decided that I would get one too.
I agree that I miss the feel of a real book, however, I really like the ability to adjust the light and font size. Overdrive from our local library is wonderful. I can check out books, it might be on a waiting list but your name moves up rather quickly. I now use the Kindle app on my tablet which I carry everywhere. The Kindle stays right next to my bed.
Today, I felt like cooking. I am making chicken and noodles. The odors coming from my kitchen are fabulous.

FYI if anyone likes John Grisham his newest "the guardians" and Michael Connelly's newest "the night fire" are available to reserve as a pre-release on the Overdrive…at least on some counties' Overdrives.

I missed the morning and the afternoon so good evening! We had the boys since yesterday afternoon. Took them home tonight and then we got home about 8:30. Whew! We're exhausted! They're like whirling dervishes!! They're both a riot and we had a great time, but we're pooped! Might make a quick run to Costco tomorrow but mostly we just plan on hanging around and not doing much at all except napping.

Cathy check with the next county over. Even if it's smaller they may. In my case the county Jax is in does not but Alachua, a tiny county on my other side does and they were happy to give me a kubrary card so I could use their Overdrive.

Also your library system might have their own small ebook program.

Good afternoon people. Beautiful day here. Wish I had some energy to enjoy it. Spent the morning dealing with Humana in the continuing saga of trying to get reimbursed for visits to a doc not in their network. Arrrrrrrgh! Anyway, that's done. Next conundrum is what to make for dinner. So I saw a recipe for Croque Madame with crispy ham. I've seen it before, but have no idea how it's pronounced. Anybody out there know how to pronounce Croque?

So we got our flu shots today and my arm is really hurting from my shoulder to my elbow. Can't use it much. Never had that happen before in all the years I've been getting them.

Anyone know how to reconstitute koolada powder. I had to buy some today and I got the liquid as I always do but they also offer it in powder and much cheaper than mixed in PG. (Uncle thanks for the link!) I'll ask at the DIY forum too.

Yes, my arm got sore for a few days when I got the flu shot but Mike didn't have that problem. Also, I got sick or 2 days after getting the new shingles shot - Shingrex? Both times! Felt weird to go to the doctors to get sick.

So..I've been using a machine called a Navage the beginning of summer just so i could breath!!
Here's a pic ( if I managed to do it correctly...) it sure beats take so many allergy pills! And I only have to use it about twice a day!
