Good morning, all. It is currently 37° with a high predicted to be 66°. I am up a bit early today getting prepared for a day at the range; I was actually up before my alarm went off. I'm only taking a couple of rifles and a few handguns. I have a neighbor who wants some lessons. I hope everyone else has a little fun on this fine day.

From the "Curmudgeon File" ..

Is it just me or has the Fine Art of Parking taken a nosedive like many other things in Society .. ?? .. People park crooked, take up more than one space, park right on the line, park next to you so their vehicle is so close you can't get in your drivers side door, park in the middle of the parking lot with a giant travel trailer, park with the hood area way to protruding into the drive zone, park in the "Fire Lane" and go shop and more ..

Is it so difficult to try and actually semi-center your vehicle within the parking space .. ??
And what about what seems to be the ever shrinking size of parking spaces .. ?? Not all of us drive a Prius ..

And don't even get me started on those that dump a loaded diaper or other detritus as they pull out .. when in most cases, there is a trashcan somewhere nearby .. .. oh no, we can't take a minute and actually go to the trashcan .. not while we're checking our Facebook likes on that stupid cat video we posted 30 seconds ago or responding to a "Whatcha Doin' ..?" text ..

You forgot leaving the cart right by your car when 5 steps would have put it in the corral.

Even worse than the parking are the folks who stick a teen in the checkout line with a cart and then take 2 more carts and finish their shopping. You think it is almost your turn in line and nope, here comes two more buggy's.

I’m kinda sad it’s my first birthday without hubs, without my bf and without my Tigger cat. I know cake and presents are coming so I need to find my happy face.

Even worse than the parking are the folks who stick a teen in the checkout line with a cart and then take 2 more carts and finish their shopping. You think it is almost your turn in line and nope, here comes two more buggy's.

Oh, Cart Etiquette .. or the lack thereof .. leave the empty cart in the middle of the parking lot and in a minute, gravity takes hold and the cart rolls down hill with ever increasing speed and pops the side of your vehicle ..

Better yet, watching a 20 something person make their way to the store on foot with 3 kids in tow and immediately snag an electric cart (the last one left), as the Elderly Lady with a Walker or cane ambles in and then can't get an electric cart .. because the perfectly capable 20 something took the last one ..
