Morning, all.

Still too warm for this time of year, lots of snow melt and flooding in "the usual places" to be expected. (Not us ;) )

Uh, chargers should last a lot longer than that! I've been running the same Xstar for 6 years or so. Prefer that line of the other base line chargers, but probably due to my experience with it.

Hola .. :)

I do appreciate the kind words and support .. as I've said before, I've never considered myself an artist .. a Guildsman / Tradesman is as puffy as I'll go .. if I were an Artist, it's likely I would have sliced one of my ears off by now ..

You can't escape your Past, because it has been what has made you ..

I need help with battery chargers. My current one (xtar) isn't fully charging my bats…only about 3/4. I use it 2-3 times a week and it's about 2 years old. My previous one, a Nitecore, lasted about the same time while being used just as much. Is that all that can be expected from them? What's your favorite?

Hey There . . . Don't know anything about this one, however I remember it being posted in the "Old Folkes - Back Porch" Thread by @Iffy :

Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part 5

Need a batt charger, or a backup? How 'bout a two bay NiteCore i2 fer $5.99 wid code VAPOR25 HERE!

Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Good morning people. It's pouring rain here. Good thing it's not snow or we'd be in a real mess.

@Bea-FL We've had both kinds for a few years and they're working fine. Weird that you had bad luck with 2. Are you sure they're not knock-offs? Maybe it's the way you plug it in.

I agree about the Past, but....disagree to the rest of your post... According to 'those who are considered authorities'... there's a broad overlap between craftsmanship and art. Craft being something created that has a useful purpose and art as something created just for it's beauty or emotional power... Your instruments are something that can be used and an example of master craftsmanship, but the embellishments you adorn them with...the inlays, carvings and painting...those are purely art and a thing of beauty to behold! Forget about cutting off an ear....seems to me you have come close enough to cutting off a finger or thumb enough times to more than qualify you as an Artist of that ilk...;)

Hola .. :)

I like Denny's .. sometimes, I think the place gets a bad rap, but the Denny's I go to generally does a pretty good job .. the waitresses are friendly, the place is clean and the food is pretty good .. yesterday evening, I hit it for a semi-breakfast for Dinner meal .. they have a Value Menu, that for $8.00 clams, you get 2 large chicken strips served on top of a couple biscuits topped with white gravy, hash browns and a couple eggs .. to boot, you get coffee and a juice included .. the Value Menu ranges from I think, around $2 - 8 .. the selection is somewhat limited, but, it's a good deal ..

Some years ago, many Friday nights were spent at my favorite Gentleman's Club .. .. while the thought of that still does cross my mind, the cover charge has been jacked to $25 bucks with a 3 drink minimum, the folks I knew have all moved on and going Stag just seems weird anymore .. back then, I felt comfortable, many of the young women knew me as well as the woman that ran the place ..

So, I sit in a booth at the Denny's, sipping my coffee and People Watching .. always a booth .. and yes, I do have my favorite booth .. :)

Sometimes, I'll be able to strike up a short conversation with someone or other sitting nearby .. but, mostly, folks are engrossed in their phone ..

I can't catch up so I will just say hello. Not been a good year so far as I lost my firstborn and am in a war with a neighbor who won't keep his dog off my property. I twisted my bad knee trying to prevent their dog from attacking me or my dogs.

Oh well, life goes on and I hope things are great for all of you.

{{{{Rosesense}}}} Oh no. I am so very sorry for your loss. This year is not starting out very well for you at all. As far as the neighbor's dog, have you called the police or animal control? Is installing a fence a possibility?
