Good Morning Everyone . . . :D

Still haven't woke-up yet, even though it's been over 4 hours since I got out of bed and had 3 cups of coffee (max allowed) already . . . Still haven't gotten use to "Spring Ahead", no matter what I do . . . Anyway, Thankfully - "We" got water turned on a couple of times throughout the day (so fill a couple of more buckets just in case) . . .

AND - Today is going to be filled with Doctors appointments - Primary, Yearly Exam & Labs follow-up (diabetes is acting up) & Cardiologist - 6 Month Check-up . . . And - Tomorrow it's the Pulmanologist for a 6 Month Check-up . . . Then I go see a New Diabetic Doctor in April ( the last one was inept ) . . . Pretty sure everything is going to be alright . . .

Definitely will take pictures.

THANKS ! ! !

Can't really wait to see how they look, but I guess I'm going to have to . . .

BTW: In case anyone wants to participate:

The downward tick in gas prices is nice, but if you can't really go anywhere, so what .. ?? o_O .. STL has had a low of $1.69 in the last week ..

Went to Miami last Monday (Dentist), Gas prices there rang from $1.99 - $3.49 per gallon . . . And - Here in Ft Lauderale, gas has also been $1.99 (at BJ) - $2.05 - $3.89 . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

@Flowersoul it's nice of your neighbor to want to make facemasks for everyone but they will be useless as protection from this virus. For virus protection face masks must be able to filter out 0.3 microns…miniscule. Regular face masks including surgical masks cannot do that.

Just in case you are not getting enough news (probably rare, but just in case) .. HULU has added free ABC News Live .. in addition, if you use a ROKU, there are a number of streaming news networks you get free with your ROKU ..

Ain't that the cotton pickin' truth? Somehow, I had the vague and unrealistic idea that when I retired, my time would be my own. Now I see that I have to fit everyone else's schedule, anyway.

sent the sales staff home with full pay until the 3rd of April. I think they made a good decision.

Heck, they made a great decision!

Do they have outlets in western WA? Heck, don't know what they sell, but with that kind of attitude towards their workers, I'd consider buying whatever!

My daughter just came home from work. They decided that the sales staff didn't need to be at risk so they closed the sales floor and sent the sales staff home with full pay until the 3rd of April. I think they made a good decision.

Here ya' go:

face-with-medical-mask_1f637.png

of material designed for the young viewer,

Even some for "Adults" too . . . ;)

YEP - Get prepared . . .

Update: Everything went well at the 2 doctor visits - I'm not going to die right away . . . "We" hope . . . ;)

Well - To be honest - almost, seems "My" numbers are all out of wack givin' that I just started having to use insulin . . . Have to increase that another 10 units a day and now the Cardiologist wants "Me" to take a huge dose of heavy duty Fish oil twice a day (which I use to take until the Cardiologist insisted I stop years ago :-x ) . . . Now to see what the Pulminologist has to say tomorrow and the Diabetic Doctor in April . . .

BTW: I don't exactly remember off the top of "My" head who (possibly @Bea-FL) mentioned what 3 Categories need to be careful and I quip about what about if Ya' have all three . . . Well - Since I do have all 3 conditions, "My" Primary has given "Me" a prescription to go get the test- even though I absolutely show no signs of having contracted the Corna-19 Virus - as a precaution . . . This is going to be FUN . . .

Years ago when I was making my own NETs (naturally extracted tobacco - I don't really vape tobacco flavors anymore), we used 3 micron filters. I don't have enough to make a mask, but geesh, guess we had something back then....

Good morning :)

@Uncle the 3 conditions the CDC mentioned were heart disease, diabetes and COPD. Be safe my friend

Since I'm spending more time at home I get to read more but I also download two great apps on my ipad. One for jigsaw puzzles and one for coloring. How do you like my two creations? @yiddleboge6 close your eyes…don’t laugh :p

Good morning Bea and Mike. The sun is shining and it's going up to 55 today. Yesterday wasn't all that much cooler, but with all the rain it sure felt like it!

Just got a double batch of suet made for my birds. Since we're stuck inside it seems to be a good time to get back to my Ancestry searches. When I stopped there was a problem with my grandparents location on the tree. My grandmother was somehow married to her husband's deceased wife. Yeah, that's not right, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it. The holidays were upon us so I just dropped everything and want to get back to fixing that and seeing what else I can find.

By-the-way, if anyone is interested. Hillsdale College offers online lectures on history, literature etc. and they're free. You can send a donation if you want, but don't have to. I put on my earphones and listen to one lecture at a time in the series - very relaxing. I'd taken a couple courses already. At the end you can take the test ( and can keep taking it till you get 100%). Then they send you a certificate. It's pretty cool.

@Bea-FL My birds love the suet recipe you gave me, but I was having to make it every 6 days. So, I doubled the recipe and poured it into a wax paper lined 9x11 pan and put it in the fridge. After a few hours I just take it out and cut it into 12 bricks. Then I just fold strips of the wax paper around each brick and keep it in a plastic bag in the fridge. Works great and I'm not dragging out ingredients as often. My birds thank you and I thank you! Even the blue birds are coming around for it.

Another soggy day here, yep, spring.

Uh, Janet? Mike? :)

They could almost put Mike's "shop" on that show! He's gotten rid of 3 old stereos, some chairs and an old kerosene heater this past week and I don't want him to slow down now!! It's amazing all the junk that gets saved over 50 years!
