Yes! I just watched them and also the video of them walking through the lodge. It would be amazing to be there in person to see that!!!

Oh, got so excited about the el-phan-nuts, as Miles used to call them, I forgot to say Good Morning! It 's a beautiful sunny morning here, but they're calling for showers later.

My favorite is Jack Daniels too, but the honey version. Normally I don't like whiskey, but this stuff is wonderful. It serves double duty in the winter because it warms up my cold feet very nicely!

I knew a woman, once upon a time, who was a big fan of Tanqueray .. before meeting her, I'd never heard of it and really, had never had gin at all .. I'd go to her home, and unless I brought my own libation, that's all there was .. about the first thing she'd say was "Tanqueray .. ??" .. she'd mix it with some juice, pineapple if memory serves .. maybe a little soda ..

I got used to it, even began to like it ..

Once she was out of the picture, I've not had it since ..

That, pretty well sums it up .. although, it's unlikely, if there is a Heaven, I'll ever get there ..

I know I dwell on times gone by more than I should, it's probably not healthy .. but, I think we've all got those memories that come to the surface sometimes, prompted by something that just makes them pop into our brains ..

I'd not thought of her in many, many years .. young, footloose and fancy free .. dreaming of what the Future might bring ..

I guess I should say Good afternoon, since the morning's long gone!

Another gloomy rainy day..it sure does sorta match the news lately!

I,too, called Yiddle this morning..left a short message...I truly hope that she's all right..just hibernating from the world.

I have been sickly for a few months now...but I'm finally getting some strength and energy back( too many physical issues since last fall, that I won't go into..except now I have diabetes...ain't it great being old?!)


I hope everyone is doing ok!
