Another orchid blooming. I wish you could smell its coconut scent. The whole greenhouse smells like coconuts!

Good morning all! It's coffee time before my commute to the office (aka the dining room).

Cold, raw, rainy this morning with a high of 54 this afternoon. It's the first time since 1940 we haven't hit 65deg in the month of April at least once. :( On the upside, the forecast for Sat & Sun is in the upper 60s. It will be nice to go for our daily walk without multiple layers on!

Good morning. It's a cloudy morning here, but at least it's going up to the low 60s today. Looks like we could get rain anytime.

Anybody else have stink bugs in your area? I just caught another one flying around the family room like a B-52. He finally landed so I got him with a tissue so he could get flushed. Haven't had one let loose with it's stink for awhile.

My ENT doctor's office is having an online Town Hall tonight to let us know what's going on in our area regarding Covid19 and what the plans are for opening up. Should be interesting.

    Morning, misfits.

Rain and moderate temps here, so we'll brave the grocery stores. Been a couple weeks, so be interesting to see what sort of changes they've made.

No, no stinkbugs in our locale. Not that we miss them!

I went to the grocery store yesterday, it has been a few weeks. As I was standing there, feet placed on the social distancing circle on the floor, I looked around and observed my environment. Plexiglass dividers on all the registers, 80% of people wearing surgical masks, mothers pushing their babies, also in surgical masks. Suspicion and confusion were the predominant looks I saw on most people's faces, angry looks on some. My favorite was the cashier on my checkout line. She had this mischievous sparkling grin that I couldn't see under her mask, but could see in the corners of her eyes, and a friendly voice. Other than interacting with her, the whole experience was like reading a Robin Cook medical thriller. It was bit different in a dystopian way, being IN the story instead of reading it, but similar in most ways.

    Good gloomy morning!

    Waiting for my grocery delivery!

Krogers screwed up a few days ago, they delivered it to the wrong house!!!

Here's hoping...they should have one of those Garmen (?) locators...if it doesn't arrive by at least noon they'll be getting another phone call...

    Hola .. :)

Milk being dumped, eggs being destroyed, meat processors under the gun, fields of food being plowed under .. and now, this ::

Coronavirus has brewers crying in their surplus beer

Now, somebody needs to figure out how to get this stuff out there and at least have one giant Party ..

99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer ..

Good morning all. We have had a couple of beautiful days. Storms came through a couple of days ago and all of the hail and rains went around us. I overdid it doing yard work the other day and haven't ventured outside other than to let my dog out to bark at the neighbors. I really should go to the store and pick up some essentials. I'll make that decision after my pills and caffeine kick in. I hope everyone has a good day.

    Good afternoon! :)

Rainy here today and the flowers are loving it. Keeping busy with online stuff; meetings, webinars, etc. A lot of folks are sure using the video chats a lot.....including us, so that does slice a good portion of the afternoon and evenings!

@Bea-FL LOVE anything coconut! That must smell wonderful!

I have a TV question and I hope I can explain what I mean. With regular network TV that we get through out AT&T cable provider we just turn on the TV, surf through the channels, pick what we want to watch, click and presto we are watching it.

When I want to watch something on…say…youtube or hulu or prime, I have to switch my TV to Smartcast, surf through the list of ups, pick the app and finally surf through the listings. At least on our TV set all these clicks are much slower than regular TV. And when we turn the TV off at night the next morning the set reverts to the regular channels. It doesn’t stay on whatever app we were on Smartcast.

My question is, is there a way to default to one of these apps so when we turn the TV on that app is what comes on?
