Good morning Bea and Fran and whoever else is up but not functioning yet. Gonna be a hot one here today with a chance of T-storms. Guess we could use the rain, but I'm not looking forward to the humidity coming back.

@Uncle Willie I forgot to mention that I finally got a pillow that seems to be working well for me. It's called Snuggle Pedic and the thing that's nice about it is that the filling is in a zippered casing so you can remove or replace as much fill as you want. Initially I removed quite a bit, but then ended up putting half of that back in. The foam chunks are pretty fine so the pillow doesn't feel lumpy at all. I do find that the pillow does flatten during the night closest to my neck, but I just flip it over. It's moldable.

Has anyone seen the Contour Pillow ads on TV? It's the one that fits between your thighs and knees for side sleepers. We've been sleeping with some kind of pillow between our knees and it really seems to take pressure off your back, but it tends to get lost during the night. It looked too big on TV, but I saw one for sale at our grocery store and got it to try and surprisingly it's really comfortable. Very light and turns with you if you flip over. Now we both have one. Geez, I sound like a commercial.

Happy summer solstice, bohemians ;)

Temps backing off, but some rain in the 'cast. Yep, PNW June at it's finest.

    Good morning everyone! :)

Got someone to fix the shed and carport. Cheap. It's a friend of mine. We've got another guy to cut the branches. Then I'll have 60 days to clean up "debris " and fix the roof. This may be doable! :D
    That’s wonderful news.

Good morning David and Kay. Pretty foggy here earlier, but now it just looks hazy. The garden needs watering, but I held off yesterday because it was supposed to rain - it didn't. Today we could get T-storms again, but only 30% chance. What to do? What do you want to bet if I water today we'll get the rain.

Happy Father's day to all the great dad's out there and all the great dads who proceeded us!

Here is a really cute live cam. This one is at Warrior Canine Connection, a Maryland nonprofit that engages Veterans in a therapeutic mission to train skilled service dogs for fellow Veterans. They also have a puppy playroom cam for older puppies.

    Good morning! :)
Spent yesterday with the family celebrating Father's Day. Except for our youngest daughter, everyone was there!
I thank God we are able to get together!

Right now, it's cool outside, and while I haven't checked the forecast yet, I suspect it will be not so cool a bit later, so taking advantage of it this morning!

Good Afternoon, all. I have held off giving my opinion on the Navage Nasal Care system. I'm not impressed so far. The use of the system with their SaltPods reminds me of when I was going through dive training in the Navy, nasty nasty taste. An example is this morning, I woke at 4:30 and my sinuses were 100% blocked. I was not able to open them up! The machine was not able to break the congestion regardless of how I switched the nose system. I wound up finally getting some relief with a Theraflu and Afrin after a half-hour. Other times I have used it, I had the mixture running down my shirt or just not getting anything cleared out. Another time I wound up with a bloody nose. That coupled with the SaltPod burned like all holy hades. Needless to say, I am not happy with my experience using the Navage Nasal Care Nose Cleanser.
I hope everyone is having a great day.
