It's still makes no sense to me that the + / - are not clearly marked .. these are supposed to be authentic Samsung batteries ..

Hola .. :(

I think I put the batteries in the charger wrong .. I've never seen a battery that does not have positive / negative markings .. I just left them in the charger overnight and when I got back in this AM, the 3 LEDS on each battery slot were blinking yellow .. took the batteries out and put them on the meter and they are around 3 volts .. put them back in the charger the other direction and the LEDS are solid on the first / blinking on the second, nothing on the third ..

Live and learn ..

Well, I think it's pretty stupid that a battery maker would not clearly indicate the + / - sides, I mean, that ought to be a law .. yesterday, I put the end that's flat on the + and the end that kind of looks like a button on the - .. the charger lights were blinking, which I figured meant the durn things were charging .. that's what other chargers do ..

Surprised the charger didn't toss some sort of error lights. Still have the manual for that one?

Flat end is negative on all 18650s. Other end may look like a button, but will vary in the size of the button. "Flat top" cells will have a bigger button than "button top." And flat tops are what most current mods use.

Well, I hope it has reverse battery polarity protection. Unlike the early DNA mods ... if the batt were inserted wrong it blew the board.

Yeah, and they "saved" all of maybe 5 cents by not putting a dang diode in to protect them.... :grr:

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
@Uncle Willie I actually live close to a few bayous. We used to go fishing alot till someone stole my fishing gear. No big loss. I don't eat fish.

Well, ya know, you can't live in Lousiana (yes, I know I spelled it wrong) without being at least semi-close to a Bayou .. I remember back years ago, I'd be driving down a country road and see folks out there with sacks rooting around for crawfish .. the Official State Crustacean .. suck that head ..

"Laissez les bons temps rouler .."

I spent two wonderfully memorable years with a Cajun woman in the Treme .. that's Tre-MAY for those not in the know .. living in an old upstairs apartment .. we'd Dance, we'd Party, we'd Sing .. among other things ..

Lord, it was a lifetime ago ..
