OK, where's the pics of the new door?

You asked for it ... here's the picture album

And we can finally pick out a stain and complete the banister rail now that we 'see' the color of the door.

Same here. Mine came out of a 100+ year old house in the Jax area. The wood is actually about the same color as yours.

Nice . . . Yea, most of mine came out of a Home, got a total of 7 different size stainglass windows left (actually had 3 more at one time) that are hung in the windows of my apartment . . . Heres 2 more from the same place (salvage antique shop) in New Hope:

Maybe we have a picture we can post of what the inside looked like before we got started on this project. There was tongue and groove wood paneling on the walls and ceiling. It was dark and like living inside a tree. Now it's all bright and clean looking. And I can actually see who is knocking on our door now so I feel safer.

We had to pick out the glass from a picture in the catalog. There were only a couple styles to choose from and this was not our favorite, but close. We're happy with how it turned out.

At some point I would like to try to get back to the stained glass hobby I started. I need a lot of practice to get the soldering to look nice enough.

Now we're chasing the flies that came in through that gaping hole before the new door was installed.

    Oh, and good morning everybody!

I have a situation that involves my Provaris and wonder if anyone has had this happen or can shed some light. I Don’t know if anyone here vapes on Ps but you’re all experienced vapers so hopefully you can shed some light. I also posted this on the Provari thread.

Background: I use mini Provaris 24/7 except once in a great while when I use one of my AIOs. I only use GS Air tanks on the Ps with store-bought coils…some of these coils are from the manufacturer…Eleaf…and some are after-market from FT.

Until about a week ago I used my last two AW IMRs 18350 bats. I rotate 8 bats and finally I had to discard these last two because they only held a charge for about 5 hours.

So to come to what the situation is. My P indicated that this last night's fresh bat (one of my new ones) that started out at 4.0 was done…after only 5 hours use it showed a 3.1 charge. So I replaced it…same thing. So I started testing to see where the problem lies.

Before I recharged these two bats I tested both them on other Ps (both used and brand new, never used before) without a tank on them and they showed almost a full charge…3.8. I then screwed on just the tank base…same thing. Put a coil on them…bingo…they show 3.1 charge. So I'm thinking the coil is the problem except that the same thing happened with a fresh coil.

The only other units I have to test this theory is a Vamo and on it those bats show about half a charge correctly (no numbers on the Vamo) and a Pico that takes 18560s and on it I show the correct amount of charge as well. Head scratching at this point…if the coil is the problem both these units should have shown almost no charge left. And just for the heck of it I tested 18450 bats on the Ps and their charges show as they should.

So my theory is that for some reason these new bat/coil/Provari combos aren’t happy together whereas AW IMRs/coil/Provari combos worked.

Does this make any sense? Am I missing something? Because at this point my options are 1. Stop using my Ps…NOT, or 2. use them with 18450s which defeat the point of mini Ps.

Hello Friends, I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I've had better days. I spent time out mowing and then putting my riding mower up on jacks to see what is wrong with my steering. The main steering gear is worn and will not turn the wheels. Now that I have isolated the problem I managed to get the mower over to the shed and parked it. Now I will have to do online searches for mower parts. Might as well order another oil filter while I am doing it.
As I was putting gear together to put back in the garage. I stood up and my Solo fell from my lap knocking off the tank. Oh, the Solo is fine, however, the Kayfun V3 Mini didn't fare so well. I'll strip it down and have more spare V3 parts. If I could just find a replacement chimney I could put 2 or 3 more V3s back on the rotation or stash drawer.
@Bea-FL I don't have a clue as to what your problem is or how to even go about troubleshooting it. I have a Provari that I was gifted and pull it out every now and then. As clumsy as I am I don't want to take a chance of breaking it. I'm sure someone on the Provari Forum will have a suggestion or two get you up and running.

Good morning. Rainy, rainy morning. Hasn't stopped since I got up at 6:00 so the suet has not been put out yet. The squirrels keep stopping by checking out the feeder.

@Bea-FL Glad you were able to get a definite answer about your batteries.

    Hola .. :)

    Sweet .. ka-ching .. ;)

What happened with the original double doors .. ??

The contractor took them away. No point in keeping them here. We've got way too much stuff saved here already.

Yikes! Probably only a few yrs old? I was going to order some of those parts to stock since I've read that they wear quickly. Think I'll crawl under to lube every year.
