Good morning. I love 60 degree mornings! The starlings and squirrels are hanging around the suet feeder wondering where their breakfast is. Outdoor dining is closed to them until later this morning. I'm hoping the other birds have a better chance of enjoying brunch.

@Uncle you asked for pictures. Here's one of the garden. The bags in front are for the potatoes. They work great except the tops kept folding over because of nearby plants Next year I'm going to add a couple dowels to keep the tops open.

This weekend Mike and I both had the problem of taking a horrible puff on our Solos because our watts somehow got bumped up to 40+ watts! Blech! I'd just put in a new coil and filled the tank so after correcting the watts I kept taking puffs and blowing it out. After about 1/4 tank the flavor settled down and now it's fine. Anyway, that's when we found that you can lock the Solo by holding down the up/down button for a few seconds until you see a tiny little lock on the screen. Hold it down again to unlock it so you can change the setting. You all probably already know this, but we had to learn the hard way.

Really nice, I bet you get enough for the family to share . . . Also, I especially like the screen door . . . ;)

Here's the cabinet Mike put together. You wouldn't think there'd be so many parts!

I have had that happen a couple of times on other MODS - quite a shocker when you're not prepared and vape at a much lower wattage . . . Not all of "Us" knew about that setting on the Solo . . . So - Thank you for the Information . . .

I'm back to having 2 Solos in my rotation with Kayfuns on them and one Kayfun on the Pico X. The Pico stays in my Man Bag as a spare. Yes, it is turned off and the juice flow is also shut. I pulled a spare Kayfun and Solo out of my stash. I cleaned the Kayfun with Dawn Dish Soap rinsing with hot water. I wrapped a new spaced coil on a 2.5 mm machine screw and it comes out at .46Ω. That gives me the 2 Solos in rotation and 2 still in the wrappers in my stash. I also have 4 more Kayfuns in their boxes in the stash drawer along with at least 6 spare tank glass for the Kayfuns. I will do a search for new tanks when it becomes necessary. I'm sure there will be something available when that time comes.

Hola .. :)

How would you rate Wayfair .. ?? I'm asking because I'm trying to find the just right size TV stand / cabinet .. they do seem to make navigating sizes / colors pretty easy on the Website .. I have to have something in a 64-66" width, not super tall .. in black, with an Oriental look and feel to it ..

@Uncle Actually they did include a couple of extra parts! First time for that to happen.

We've ordered several things from Wayfair. Sometimes there has been a problem with the item, but their customer service couldn't be better. Their shipping is pretty fast too. I usually look over the reviews. Their items are less expensive than if you went to a fine furniture store, but I'm not looking to pass down pieces in my will. This TV cabinet looks like a nice piece of furniture so I'm happy.

Well - I am sure Ya' know I was trying to "bust' Ya's - Yes? . . . In years past it never failed that there was always an extra part or two left that Ya' never knew what it was for, especially when you followed the directs . . . ;)

Good morning everyone. Gonna be a cloudy day, but it's 67 here this morning and that feels perfect.

Looks like those plastic bottles on the rod that holds the suet feeder has slowed down the squirrels nicely, but now it looks like the raccoon is making regular visits to clean out the seed feeder. It's also knocking over my potted plants on the table-not nice. I've seen a beautiful young fox a few times in the early morning. He might be helping to keep the squirrel population in check.

Yes, I know you were joking around, it's usually bad news to have leftover parts. We actually did forget to put in one of the wooden dowels that helps with alignment, but by the time Mike realized it, the cabinet was already together and there was no way we were taking it apart to put it in there. One little dowel is not going to affect the sturdiness of the cabinet. I was impressed that this cabinet came with a cardboard sheet with all the parts shrink-wrapped to it and labeled. Sure beats sorting through little bags of multiple size screws etc thrown in.

Morin' Misfits . . .

And you people missed an absolutely deliciious treat.

They look as good as any loving "Yeti"/ "Bubbe" would make . . .

BTW: The cheese blintzes (both savory/sweet) are even great at a later date, just make them the same way, until you go to fry them - instead place them on a single layer on a tray - put in freezer - when frozen take out - put 1 - 2- or even 4 into individual packages - put back in freezer until wanted - take out of freezer defrost and cook . . . Easy Peasey, quick meal or dessert . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Morning, all.

Lead gray skies, sadly ash from fires to the east, not rain clouds. Those aren't going to come back for some time.... While nowhere near as bad as places south, still not good to breathe. Presumably only a couple more days of this, then the wind will shift. We hope!
