Good Morning, All. Glad I did as much as I did yesterday, today is a day to sit back and let the muscle relaxers and pain pills get me through the day. I was planning on going to the farm but my body says differently. Some days we have to shut up and listen to our bodies. Bamby is safe for another couple of weeks until the gun season opens on the 21st. That will give me time to do some more work on measuring and marking distances and watching the trail cams. I hope everyone has a good day with friends and family.
Oh, I sat up my candy station by the open front door for a bit over 2 hours between 7 - 9ish PM and only had about a dozen groups of kids and I gave out about half of the candy that had been bought. The total number of kids was about 25 at the most and those kids were the lucky ones because I was giving out the candy in hand-filled amounts, none of these 2 or 3 pieces for these kids. Let them load up on sugar they aren't my kids, LOL. The kids have had their lives mixed up during this year so I figure that they deserve a night of fun and adventure. Let them have it.

Good morning. Pretty breezy here this morning and 45.

Last night I looked up to see a gray and white kitty looking in our sliding glass doors. That one left and a few seconds later a black and white kitty looked in. I couldn't let them in because our 2 girls would have freaked out! I hope they have a home someplace close. They certainly didn't look feral.

Oops, our high today is 45, it's 38 out there now.

    As much as I loathed even the thought, I had to hit the Walmart today for some basic stuff .. shampoo, etc .. I'm getting so tired of the non-maskers, I'm about to lose it .. combine that with the election .. I'm on my last nerve ..

    If, a year ago, someone had told me "Willie, people that don't wear a mask in a public space will be added to your list of pet peeves .." I would have thought they were nutty ..

    I've about decided to hole up at the house and designate someone to rouse me when it's all over ..

    Luckily here we rarely see anyone without a mask.

    Good morning everyone! :)
    I went out early to vote. I only stood in line for 30 minutes or so. Not as bad as I thought it would be. The guy in front of me was no mask till he got inside. Then he whipped out a bandana and wrapped it around his head. W*f? I stood at least 6 ft away.

    Almost as bad are those who don't pull it over their nose... uh, what's the point?

    Seems to me that we all live in a society, and enjoy it's benefits. Electricity. Water. Grocery stores. Heck, roads. Some, it seems, don't seem to want to do anything to protect that society.
