FYI for Today ..

Showtime is offering a 30-Day free trial currently thru January 11th .. and, as a bonus, if you decide to stick with it, they will give you $8.99 a month for life ..

Stream SHOWTIME Now

If you get the 30-Day free trial (if you've had a free trial before, a new email address generally will game the system) .. Showtime does offer an easy 30-Day binge opportunity even if you don't stick with it after 30 Days .. "Homeland", "Ray Donovan", "Shameless", "Dexter", "The Good Lord Bird", "The Chi", just to name a few series, will certainly suck up some time ..

Morning loungers.

Looks to be cold and wet, not quite cold enough to snow (probably), so the damp just cuts through. Think I'll stay inside.

That is something I will have to look into. The house has a tendency to get a bit stuffy during the winter.
I'm having a bit of a difficult morning. I've not slept well the last week or so. I'm supposed to go to the farm and I'm having a hard time getting started. I will be spending the night at Stevens so we can do an evening hunt today and then spend the whole of Sunday. I'll actually be spending two nights and coming home on Monday.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Hola .. :)

Not much to report .. ran by my tire guy this AM to get the regular Winter tire pressure check .. (just as an FYI, always have your tire pressure topped off when it gets cold, although you probably always knew that .. ) .. I'm guessing those in the Southern Realm of the Kingdom don't have that hassle to deal with .. o_O

Pretty much finished my Living Room deep clean and it's sparkly .. :) .. started about 4 weeks ago with the carpet cleaning and just went from there ..

I don't generally like those plug in air fresheners .. I mean, they really don't "freshen" the air .. I also don't like those things that you put oil on a topper and burn a tea candle under it to create a scent .. I used to burn incense but that has it's own set of issues .. candles are OK for the flame but that's about it .. (our fascination with fire probably dates back to the Caveperson days .. )

However, thru the recommendation of someone, I bagged one of these and some essential oils on Amazon .. ::

Amazon.com : Diffuserlove Essential Oil Diffuser Metal Vintage 100ml Ultrasonic Humidifiers Aromatherapy Oil Diffuser with 4 Timer Mode & 7 Color LED Lights and Waterless Auto Shut-off for Home Office and Yoga : Beauty

It's a very hip unit, and works pretty well .. although you really need to add more than a few drops of oil to it ..

Now, let me be clear, my Home does not smell bad .. nor did it ever .. :p .. but, if I can add a little extra Feng Shui to the mix, I'm all in ..

You've certainly been busy! And the oil diffuser is a good idea. I love the Yankee candles, but the soot from their wicks is wicked and then there's the flame thing! Since we stopped smoking I can't find matches when I need them! The oil diffusers don't have those problems, plus yours is much prettier than mine. The number of drops you put in it depends on the strength of the oil you choose. I've got some where anything above 3-4 drops is awful and other scents take a lot more. You'll figure it out, just trial and error.

Well, I ordered an assortment of 6 oils when I ordered the diffuser .. they were on sale, and I suspect they are not the World's Greatest for $8.00 for 6 .. if you know of a particular brand that seems to be more effective, let me know .. you, too, Frannie ..

Look into DoTerra Oils. Yes they are very pricy but some of the flavors aren't and the bottles are 15ml not 10ml. Other than that I have a few brands but more Edens Garden than anything. Not pricy at all.

I get most of my essential oils from Revive. Not expensive, good quality, free shipping.

    REVIVE Essential Oils

Another is Vitality Extracts. Good quality, not expensive, free shipping for orders over $50.

    Vitality Extracts

Aromatics International is also good. I find them a little more pricey, but quality is excellent. They also have a bunch of "recipes" to help making mixes in your diffuser. They also have a lot of information on their website about individual oils and mixes.

Essential Oils & More - Pure & Sustainable

I just can't pay the prices for DoTerra or Young Living (although I have friends that are members of both). They are very expensive because they are both MLMs. I get just as good quality and much better pricing from the above companies.

Good morning. The birds are all puffed up at the feeder this morning. Our high today will only be 39. Brrrr.

It looks like the kids will be coming to our house the day after Christmas this year. Glad that's finally settled. So, we've decided to just put up the pencil tree since there's not going to be much visiting with anybody. This whole year has just been weird.

That's a very pretty one Bea.

@Uncle Willie I haven't used mine from Young Living in awhile, but was thinking recently that I wanted to, just haven't gotten around to it. It got put away when we were doing work in the family room. There are still several bottles of oil left in the box. Their scents are very nice, but pricey. You can get essential oils from a lot of different places, but I'd look into the places Cathy recommended since she is familiar with them.

    Hola .. :)

Sunny and clear blue skies .. supposed to push near 50o .. take that, Uncle .. ;)

Very happy for "You" . . . :headbang:

Down here in SF the weather has been varied. Matter of fact, "We've" already had a couple of cold fronts come through were the temp got down to almost 50* overnight (Some people were actually wearing parkas it was so cold  ) while the temp during the day range between 70* to 80* very little humidity if any to speak of . . . Can't wait until Christmas Eve/Christmas day, usually around 70's. . . :D

I'm a Michigander, so I'm used to snow starting about Mid-Nov.( it's good for hunting season, too, you can track the tracks to find your deer.. if it doesn't drop immediately)

For the past weeks it's been mostly gloomy and rainy! I DON"T LIKE IT AL ALL!

    Stay safe everyone!

Good evening, All. I just got back from the weekend at the farm. Lots of time in the deer stand with no sightings. The Holiday antlerless hunt begins on the 18th so I'll be out there looking for a nice doe. I already took my shower so will probably be hitting the bed a bit early. Take care and stay safe.
    edit
I managed to knock my Ares 2 off of the bathroom counter last night and broke the glass. It was a good thing I took a spare tank and mod. I replaced the glass and it is vaping real nice with no other harm done. I will be ordering a couple more tanks and spare glass in a couple of days. I'm such a klutz.

Good morning. Yep, gonna be a cold one today, only going up to 39. But there's no snow or ice around so we'll be able to make a trip to the Lakeshore toy store today. Never been there. I've got some things in my Amazon cart, but want to check out what I can in person before hitting that order button. I miss Toys R Us. What we have to do is send links to our kids so we don't duplicate anything. Our parents didn't have that option and one year grandpop gave a toy drum to our son... Yeah, that toy stayed at grandpop's house.

I wasn't always so careful about making sure I had a backup when I went out. Then one day I did the same thing you did so now there's always a spare or 2 with me. They're way too easy to knock over or drop. My most recent drop resulted in the drip tip breaking.

    Morning, all.

Yep, spares for spares is the mantra! I have at least two with me at all times, actually since I started vaping. Of course, back then (and sadly, maybe again :( ) vaping wasn't as available, and, since it was working for me, no way was I going to be caught without it. Didn't want to risk a relapse!!

And you never know when you might torch a wick... ;)

    Morning - Way to early . . .

Another cold front working its way down here - last night got to the high 40s and today will only get up to 70s with intermittent rain . . . Just Sayin'. . .

I know I've mentioned this before - "Tank Bumpers" ! ! ! They usually save the tank glass and are can save you the expense of having to replace the glass. You can get them very inexpensively on FT (when you get the replacement glass - if I remember correctly a bag of 12 for under $3) and come in different colors, also vape related sayings. I got 4 packs made for 22m tanks - 1 Black w/Red stripe, 1 Black w/Blue stripe, 2 packs Black / Blue. They work great, even when tipped over or dropped from 5', especially on the Zenith, Zide, Prism T22. And - if you don't want to spend the money, before I got these bumpers, I was using rubber bands - the ones that come on produce are the best and the coated ponytail bands will work too, particularly for smaller tanks like a Prism T18.

Hope the information is helpful . . .
