Hola .. :)

Hit 60o plus yesterday, today looks like another scorcher .. then Old Man Winter regains control ..

Got my new 75" TV and finally found a stand I liked and would work with my entertainment center .. stand won't be here for a few days yet .. then, it's the pure joy of putting together knock down furniture from Wayfair .. :(

Good morning. Should be warmer today, going up to 47.

So much to do here to get ready for Christmas. Hopefully today I'll be able to put together some of the dough for cookies in between the laundry and washing some windows. The storm the other day blew the rain sidewards and totally messed up the main windows downstairs. I gotta have a clear view to see the bird feeders!
Janet, i just have to say that you n Mike wear me out just reading what you do on a regular daily basis....I now need a little nap...

Good morning friends!

Awoke to sunny clear skies for a change...tho there's no snow, and I love snow...if it's only a foot or less deep...:D

I completed my Christmas shopping a couple of weeks ago...on-line of course!

And I've almost completed the decorating...very minimal this year, so it was easy!

Oh, come on now, Janet .. I've never met or known any self-respecting Woman that does not want her Home to be as spotless as Humanly possible prior to Family or Guests arriving .. and, even at that, many will still say "Don't look at the dirty house .. " even when it is spotless .. ;)

Or if someone does show up, even unexpectedly - answer the door totally naked - they won't notice if the place is clean or not . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Oh my, they're so beautiful! Are they the ones blooming now or are some pictures from earlier?

Yes, of course you're right and the house will be spotless, but due to Covid the only visitors that are coming are our 2 kids with their families which include 4 kids under 5 years old. Besides all the "stuff" they lug in, it takes the kids 1.5 minutes to make it look like an explosion of toys happened in here. It looks like none of them will be here Christmas day. Can't say as I blame them. The most relaxing, pleasant Christmas we had with kids was the year we had the flu and didn't go anywhere. The kids had their presents and Mike and I laid on the floor while they played around us. Never got out of PJs all day. Since Christmas falls on a Fri., we'll do the dinner and presents here the day after this year and that will be fine. So, we're not going to do our usual frantic yearly cleaning/decorating. Just enough to make it festive for us. We can't not put up a tree, but this year it'll just be the pencil tree. Maybe on Christmas Mike and I will take a drive around to just look at the wonderful lights and decorations people go to the trouble to put up for the enjoyment of everybody.

Also, I suppose I should pony up for another zlide or 2 .. and more Zenith coils .. I think today I installed my 3rd new coil in the ZLIDE / Aegis and I can't remember how long I've had it now ..

So, if there are any deals out there, clue a Brother in ..

It was a vial called Frankincense & Myrrh, so I guess they are already mixed .. the Joy just came up as a pop up for $10, I did not even check it out .. I mean, how can you go wrong with a scent called Joy .. ??

I get my coils from Lightfire. I’m holding out for a holiday sale. I’ll feel better if I up my stash a bit.

Good morning. It was a frosty 27 here this morning. Mike heard that we were supposed to have freezing fog last night and we forgot to look for it. What the heck is freezing fog anyway? We've probably been in the midst of it before and just didn't know what it was.

I was flipping through the channels the other night and stumbled upon this gem .. people are nutty ..

Watch The Great Christmas Light Fight TV Show - ABC.com

Fantastic! As much as I enjoy and appreciate all the work that goes into making those displays it's always in the back of my mind that somebody has to put all that stuff away! Do they have a separate building to house all those displays? Whoever is putting up all those lights certainly isn't helping with the shopping, baking, wrapping, decorating inside. Their electric bill must be impressive.

Good morning, all. I hope everyone is doing well this morning. I had a problem with one of my rifles after the last day of hunting, it had a chambered round and the bolt was stuck. I had to remove the scope and base to get the bolt loose. While I had the scope off of it I went ahead and swapped the scopes out. Now I have to resight the scopes. Steven will be meeting me so it will be a guys day out for fun at the farm. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

How did you get it loose without damaging it. And did you see any reason it got stuck in the 1st place. Did you check the round for specs like OAL? That would make me nervous to use again not knowing why it jammed.
