Good morning, All. It was a busy weekend. I'm hoping the coffee kicks in soon. I'm taking Syndee to the airport this morning. She is flying up to Alaska to be with her family. Her Grand Mother passed away last week and she is going up to Alaska for the services, if there is one, and to see her family. She had a Covid test yesterday and has the results so there is no problem with her traveling. Other than that there isn't anything going on except me looking at e-juice recipes I can make with what I have on hand and still looking for a cat tree pattern. When the streets are better I will be making a run to Home Depot for some lumber. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

ARRRRGGGHHH!!! I sent a package to my best friend in PA on December 4 via USPS priority mail. She still has not received it so today I tracked the package. It is in Los Angeles CA!!!! From Florida to PA, in LA???? The PO is so messed up. We have to tell our customers that will will ship on a date but no guarantee delivery date! What a mess. And now that vaccines are shipping (thank goodness!), although not via USPS, who knows when things will be delivered. Such a mess....
Well, CA comes before PA, alphabetically. Although I'm sometimes surprised that they can read at all. We're rural, so it's a contract delivery, not official USPS. And often get mail with nothing remotely resembling the address it was delivered to... Sure, 1234 567th St. W looks JUST LIKE 10 Downing Street, doesn't it??

I WANT SNOW!!!!!
We started out with rain this morning, then snow mixed in with the rain, then it turned to lots and lots of big fluffy flakes (which was pretty interesting) and then it went back to rain. Just before dark there was no trace of the snow at all. But at least I did get to see it snow today. Don't worry, yours will be coming!
We're being warned about a blizzard Wednesday into Thursday, but our weather predictions are about 50/50 accurate for snow storms.
Maybe it's PA. I sent a first class package from here to South Carolina that took 12 days back in September.
The package hasn't been close to PA, which is where it is supposed to go. From Florida (Ocala, then Jacksonville) straight to LA. I thought they shipped by zip code, but apparently the PO is so short handed or whatever, with no machines to read the bar code, and send packages on their correct, merry way. Oh well, I hope it gets there soon.
Biggest bruise is to my ego.
Oh, and my left thumb is sprained. My head hit the ground hard enough to see stars. It was shocking, I was totally aware of every moment 'till the crash landing. Although the incident reenforced what my Grandmother would always tell us grandkids. When you grow up get a job using your head, it's the hardest part of your body. Other parts will wear out before your head.

Don't even get me started on USPS .. I sent a custom guitar neck to a guy 400 miles away by Priority 2 weeks ago and it still has not showed up .. I mean, I understand the post-Black Friday surge and all, but geeze .. then, if it ends up lost and I file a claim, I'll have to jump thru 50 hoops and still keep my fingers crossed that they pay for it ..
Sometimes, I think that USPS should just be sold to FedEx or UPS ..

Man, I have to tell you, I've come close myself .. just a few months ago I was walking from the truck to the Walgreens and was distracted by a young woman in front of me ..

Well, it's afternoon already, and it feels like 9pm......went to Sam's with our cousin and we used my car, so we had to really pack things well since we had two orders....but we got er done. I knew my car trunk was big, but now I really can appreciate how big it actually is. Have some dry goods to be put away in the garage, but Mama Bear needs some rest.......
