I have yet to crave a smoke, even tho I allow some people who smoke to do it in my home...cuz i know they won't be there for a really long time.....and it doesn't tempt me at all, it just stinks.... but as soon as they leave i have to air out the place for a while. And I'm still amazed at how awful it stinks and am so thankful that i no longer subject anyone, especially my grandkids, to it.
But I'm also pretty sure that if vaping ended I'd be right back to smoking.
Well I have to confess Ginny smoked while we were on vacation and even tho she was only smoking about 5 a day, I'd be right there to get a puff, but they tasted so bad plus they were Ultra Lights so I really didn't get much of a puff, but I was still right there with give me a puff. It did make me want to smoke a real cigarette and not an angel fart.

Our house went smoke free many years ago, after SO had an angina scare - she quit cold turkey, over a couple of months "sneaking" on from my pack every now and then.

So, for me it was out in the rain and cold - until vaping. Vapor doesn't bother her at all, although I do have a couple mixes she doesn't care for the aroma. Not a big deal, I just vape those - of course they're two of MY favorites! - in a different room. Doesn't travel far enough to bother her.

Now, if I could just get her to stop with the scented candles and incense... :D

Having passed my 5 year smoke free mark, I think I might be able to not smoke. Maybe...:danger:

I've been nursing boo boos today. Yesterday out in the back yard I found a hole  the hard way. I rolled my ankle and went down hard :censored:. Thank goodness we have been having rain as of late and the ground has softened up. Ankle is fine but pulled something in the top of my left foot, both knees bruised, a sore left wrist and right elbow. My back is a bit unhappy too. The good part is I am such a klutz that I have learned from experience just to cover my face and don't try to break the fall (that's how things get torn and bones get broken). Hubs has decided  it might be a good idea to see about getting a scoop of fill dirt and start filling in some of the holes in the yard. (something I suggested to him last spring):glare:
Sure hope you get to be feeling better real soon. That was some fall you took!!!

Fortunately I have had few, if ever, any cravings for a cigarette and have become very intolerant of the smell. When I go to Walmart I can smell it outside the doors where folks have been smoking.
When we take a road trip or have to go out of town for a while, my vaping supplies are the first thing I pack.

Hubby had his carotid arteries tested today, along with an echocardiogram. Tomorrow he will be undergoing the nuclear stress test. Not looking forward to that at all although it is supposedly, the state of the art diagnostic testing.

From the "One Step Forward, Two Steps Back" Department ::

NY bans e-cigarette use in restaurants, bars, other public places

I don't know .. I would guess those that PV Cumulous Clouds could be somewhat disconcerting to Patrons in Public Establishments .. not being one of that Cadre myself, I've never had an issue puffing in Public ..
The least they could do is give vapers their own section of the restaurant. That would be the decent thing to do. Plus, it would help encourage smokers to become vapers.

Oooh! Just imagine, v a p i n g sections where vapers could meet other vapers and compare notes and hardware!
I've gone from having to run outside for a smoke in the middle of shopping, to....going out for the entire afternoon and not even taking a PV with me....;)
Not me!
I've fessed up before and I'll do it again .. :) .. if all the PV's and all liquid somehow were transported to the 4th Dimension, and nothing was left on Earth, I would the next in line at the store for a pack of Marlboros .. :(
At first, I hit 'Agree'. But, I changed it to 'Like' instead because I'm not absolutely sure . . . .

Ok, I am sure. BUT, I refuse to think about it! I so very much do not ever want to smoke again!

Luckily, I'll never have to face that possibility. I'm stocked up and always make sure to have plenty of vape gear whenever I leave the house. So, even if it all disappears into the Taxation Dimension, I'm still covered.

Same here. I m well stocked and am confident I will never go back to cigarettes. I do not like the smell and walking in doorways of stores where people stand and smoke almost makes me gag. I do have friends who still smoke, and that's fine, but I do not like the smell.Hope I don't get any funky HTML code posting that quote!

I've been fortunate in not craving a smoke for quite a few years..but if vaping disappeared...I'd be pushing myself in front of everyone to get a carton of smokes:(

That's why i'm stocked up for about a dozen years:D

Is anyone seeing this extra text?

YES!!! I tried a few times to change the post...deleleted that part of it, retyped what i wanted, posted it, and those screwy words were right back! I'm glad to know that it's a glitch somewhere here on ECF!
