I've been watching Gotham but now i'm ready to go to bed, but they just played a song in the background that was so fitting and that i hadn't thought of for a long time...so here it is...and good night!

Sweet dreams!

Sure hope you get to be feeling better real soon. That was some fall you took!!!

Fortunately I have had few, if ever, any cravings for a cigarette and have become very intolerant of the smell. When I go to Walmart I can smell it outside the doors where folks have been smoking.
When we take a road trip or have to go out of town for a while, my vaping supplies are the first thing I pack.

Hubby had his carotid arteries tested today, along with an echocardiogram. Tomorrow he will be undergoing the nuclear stress test. Not looking forward to that at all although it is supposedly, the state of the art diagnostic testing.
The cardiolite stress test isn't any big deal. I've had three of them. The only bad.part is running on the treadmill and you don't even have to do that if you javr bad joints or such. The can do the elevated heart rate with a shot. I had that last time. Other than that part it's mostly boring and takes a long time. They should let you go eat during the long break.

Those 50s-60s groups sang the best songs didn't they?

I guess that tells my age but I remember dancing to this Paul Anka’s song with my boyfriend.

Speaking of the tens unit, hubs has 2 of them. Do they make one that runs for more than 30 minutes at a time?

Empi will run all day, but it's pretty expensive. insurance paid for mine several years ago, but thanks to Willie's post I picked one up for $20 and think it works just as well. I just have to tap it again after 20 min.

Excuse my mood please, but i'm a bit disheartened,,,,I have to go to the Dr.s tomorrow to see if i have pneumonia of the walking variety...I probably don't, I've just been having an awful time for going on a couple of months with terrible breathing issues and coughing my lungs out .
it could be just a horrible sinus infection with the plugged up nose and the disgusting sputum but I'm almost wiped out with no strength or energy and I'm tired of it. I wanna be full of piss n vinegar! I couldn't even pick up a few small pieces of branches today in the yard and I'd have to sit down and breathe as tho I'd just run a block.

I ain't my "normal" self!

Now I'm heading for a long hot shower and my soft warm bed.
Catch you on the flip side....

BTW...this song really could be my theme song, no kidding.

Glad to hear you're feeling better after all that.

My GGD just send me this pic of the princess....

She's just the cutest little girl!!

Yes, I bought the MicroPure unit as well and I've been happy with it .. I think the new link I put up is likely a newer model, since I did not see the Micropure at a reduced price .. since I have no shame, I have been known to wear a TENS all day, turning it off and on as needed .. I really like the rechargeable feature on the Micropure and it lasts a good long time .. :) .. on a side note, when I used to go to the Chiropractor, I hounded him to sell me a unit, as they did not seem to be readily available .. he refused, claiming it was for "Medical Professionals Only" .. right .. o_O .. later, after finding out what they were called, I found a portable unit on-line .. I've been sold on them ever since .. never used one on anything but my lower back, though ..

I hope you have been able to bring Katie out of her funk .. I need you around to drag me out of mine when I travel that Road .. Military families have it particularly tough ..

On a high note, I made my regular trip to Vintage Vinyl and found a very nice Boots Randolph LP in the clearance bin for One Dollar .. it had been signed by Boots and they still let me have it for a dollar .. score .. :)

The physical therapist for my shoulder told me I could wear it all day - and I did. It was the only thing that allowed me to get the mobility back and then my shoulder finally healed. I don't see why you couldn't wear it much longer than the 20 minutes they're usually set for. It's supposed to help with blood flow and to reduce swelling. That's better than popping pills to do the same thing.

Chiro just wanted you to continue going for tens treatment. It used to only be available on prescription. Now OTC. So we pay cash. I thought it would be dangerous in the chest area. (Not that you would be interested) so I quit wearing a bra. Now I discover that the heart arrhythmia trigger is only on the front of the neck. Wearing a shelf cami today, and much more comfortable. Will use tens wherever I need it, once I get up from this nap I am about to take. PT and chiro told me to not use it to cover pain while physically active, only when resting.

Lol....are either of you two ladies, perchance in possession of a singing bowl as well? ;)

What's a singing bowl?

I've been nursing boo boos today. Yesterday out in the back yard I found a hole  the hard way. I rolled my ankle and went down hard :censored:. Thank goodness we have been having rain as of late and the ground has softened up. Ankle is fine but pulled something in the top of my left foot, both knees bruised, a sore left wrist and right elbow. My back is a bit unhappy too. The good part is I am such a klutz that I have learned from experience just to cover my face and don't try to break the fall (that's how things get torn and bones get broken). Hubs has decided  it might be a good idea to see about getting a scoop of fill dirt and start filling in some of the holes in the yard. (something I suggested to him last spring):glare:

Oh no! Hope you're not too sore today. I'm glad you didn't break anything!

there's something going on with ECF....hopefully they get it fixed quickly...;)
Is anyone seeing this extra text?

No, haven't been having any trouble other than just trying to catch up.

We'll be picking the boys up from daycare today and tomorrow and taking them home to get them their dinner. Beckett (7 months old) is on a dairy free diet. Ugh!!! Most EVERYTHING has some dairy in it. Even french fries have some milk in them! It's awful. Man, I feel so lucky not to have any dietary restrictions.
