Morning all.

Another sunny and warm day. (Well, relatively warm ;) )

None of these places have a way to take our name off a list when we finally do get our shot.

Well, when they get down to you (July? September??) and you don't reply, they might delete you from the list then...Hope your PCP comes through earlier!!

Hey, it snowed today. I looked outside early and the windshield was covered in mud spots, and I won't run the wipers on a dry dirty windshield. On the way back from breakfast, though, we got this really heavy, wet snow. So wet it was safe to use the wipers. Windshield all clear again

Bea turned me on to Greg Iles, I finished off the "Natchez Burning" trilogy a while back .. read a book or two in between, and now I'm on his novel, "Black Cross", which sucks you in from page One ..

Normally, I'm pretty lucky in finding actual books I like at the Christian Re-Sale shops, Goodwill, and / or Yard Sales .. however, during the Covid Times, much of that was curtailed .. I have been using Thrift Books by mail .. the prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to in the used book market, but they have a very deep inventory and shipping is free ::

it really hurts when you have to drive into the setting sun.

Yeah, a road I take home on a daily basis is westbound .. when I hit it during certain times of the year when the Sun is low, it's a real drag .. sunglasses and the visor help, but still ..

She got me interested in Iles, too. I'll keep an eye out for Black Cross.

Morning, reprobates. Yesterday's sunny start quickly deteriorated to heavy rain. But no snow at our elevation :)

Not much else going on (thankfully!), other than showing the cats that, yes, it's raining out both sides of the house. :) Either they have short memories from the last rain, or just enjoy getting me my exercise. (I think the latter.)

@Bea-FL Thank you for the pics, they are beautiful! I was about to ask you for some. It's frigid here, cold and windy, and the GH pics bring warmth and a smile.

Happy Friday. The good news is I just got home from getting my first COVID-19 vaccination. The bad news is the office still expects me to get work done this afternoon. At least I'm home, warm and comfy, so it's not all bad.

You really know how to brighten a person's day! Your thumb isn't just green, it is magical.

My daughter found where she had safely stashed my birthday present. It only took her a week to find it. lol It was a mix of different things and not just a single present. It felt like Christmas when I came out to my desk this morning. A couple that she got me were a 5-sided Rubik's cube and an "Infinity Cube". I had never heard of the Infinity cube so I did a search, this thing is going to be addicting.

Does my girl know me or what? And tonight we are going to our favorite diner and enjoy an all-you-can-eat fried catfish dinner.

Congrats on getting your first shot. We still haven't heard anything and we're registered in 10 places. Hopefully you won't have any side effects, but if you do at least you'll know they won't last long. Hey, you could tell your boss you feel sick and stay home anyway!
