Oh, and don't forget, each biip comes with 2 coils, so ordering 15 is like getting 3 free boxes of coils .. Bingo .. :p

My math was wrong .. you buy 15 biip's, you get 30 coils free .. so you're getting 6 boxes of coils ..

And nobody corrected me .. what am I doin' here .. ?? Wasting my time .. ??

I'm not aware of deer, fox or raccoons living in center city Phila, but the rats... I'm sure on the outskirts of the city there are frequent sightings of deer, skunks and raccoons.

You may find a show on PBS interesting .. it's called "Wild Metropolis" .. ;)

No resistance ... none at all.

4 ZBiips coming from Lightfire. Could have saved a few bucks and gotten them from ecigmafia but they shipped adult signature. And I didn't want to co-ordinate being here when they arrived. Damn, last time I looked they didn't have the Shiny Black in stock, this time they did and it put me over the edge.

Couldn't find Pods at Lightfire so got some of them at Vapor Authority ... wouldn't you know it, they require adult signature. aarrgghh ... the new future.

Good morning all. It looks like it will be a nice day. I don't have any plans for the day, I'll just take what comes. I'm expecting a couple of packages from Amazon so I will be staying home and doing some chores around the house. I hope everybody has a good day.

Oh @Uncle Willie, I did a search and the videos are available at PBS.org so I guess I do have plans for the day. Thanks for the recommendation.

Good morning. Well, winter still has a bit of a grip. It was 21 this morning and we've seen some snowflakes flying around out there. Just stragglers I guess. Going up to 43 today and the sun is shining. Guess my sandals will be sitting in the closet for awhile.

Oh. We used to make left over mashed into patties. To my taste, they are better fried, anyway.

Yes, we fry them as patties and I also have made the patties with a can of tuna and a raw egg. Plop a dollop into some flour and pat it into a patty and fry. Those are delicious. But sometimes I want mashed potatoes for dinner and just don't have the time to make them. Having a batch in the freezer makes dinnertime a little easier and it just never occurred to me that it could be done.

You may find a show on PBS interesting .. it's called "Wild Metropolis" .. ;)

Speaking of food, in the past, I've mentioned my penchant for making a good quantity of some things that last me several days .. it's not that I don't like cooking, but it's really all about efficiency .. if I like a certain recipe I don't have a problem eating it for several days for dinner / supper ..

Menards (yes, the Home Improvement centers) carry a great line of soup packets where you just add your own extra stuff .. I particularly like the Enchilada flavor .. I'll use two packets in a large soup pot and add chicken / polish sausage / potatoes / frozen corn ..

It lasts me at least 4-5 days .. which, if you are a fan of History, the common folk of many years ago would always have a soup pot hanging on the fireplace, for fireplaces were not just for looks and heat back then .. they would toss in what they could get or had, maybe a raccoon or a squirrel (not whole), and what veggies might be available, and the soup would be constantly changing, yet pretty much always available ..

At any rate, I don't use raccoons or squirrels .. but, my soup lasts me a several days ..

Day One, it's really a soup, watery yet tasty .. have it with some fresh French bread
Day Two, same as day One, yet drop some sour cream on top along with some grated cheese and Taco Dorito bits ..
Day Three, add more meat, since by now, I've fished a lot of it off the bottom of the pot
Day Four, it's turned into a stew like consistency, so put some rice in the rice cooker and serve over rice .. I always have more rice than I need, so
Day Five, leftover rice was dumped in from Day Four ..

At that point, I've had enough, and if some is still left, it gets bagged up and tossed into the trash ..

I follow similar routines with Chili .. Just Chili / Frito Pie / Chili Dogs / Chili over Pasta, etc ..

Lastly, I find the secret to making fried rice is to leave the cooked rice in the fridge overnight .. then, just go to it the next day and fry in whatever you like and it will not stick together .. and, you don't need a wok .. crack an egg or 4 in there, chop up some bologna, spices as you please .. just use your imagination .. :) .. whatever suites your fancy ..

Good morning to all that aren't here yet, and David.

It's gloomy outside but at least it's not freezing cold!

I've been busy most mornings chasing the damm squirrels from my bird feeders. I have three feeders and eight baffles on the dble. poles...and STILL they manage somehow to get to the feeders!!:grr:

(well, actually, I spend a good amount of time most days chasing them away, I now call it my form of daily exercising)
Hoping everyone has a good day!

Good morning all. My yard is infested with weed. If it wasn't for the weeds, I wouldn't have any green in the yard. Oh well.

I haven't worn a watch basically since I retired. The other day, I cleaned out a drawer in my vanity and found my old trusty Seiko Diver's watch. The original band for the watch broke years ago and I replaced it with an after-market band. It just never felt comfortable with that band so it was relegated to the vanity drawer. I decided that it was time to get a decent band for it. I went online and found what appeared to be an original Seiko curved rubber band. It arrived yesterday and after putting it on the watch I'm very happy with the fit and feel of the watch on my wrist. I really don't need a watch since I always have my phone handy as well as having clocks throughout the house. However, I have missed wearing a watch especially my ol' trusty Seiko.

I hope everyone has a good Saturday. Stay safe and well.

I've worn a watch since as far back as I can remember, probably High School .. thru the thick and the thin, a watch, some cash money and a Swiss Army knife along with a 1900 American Silver dollar that my Grand Dad gave me have been on my person at most all waking hours .. I'd probably carry a roll of duck tape, too, if I could fit it somewhere .. :)

Good afternoon everyone! :) Still washing dogs. I started where I left off yesterday. Sure wish people wouldn't wait 8 months then rush to get their dogs groomed for the holidays. Makes it much more difficult to get their dogs cleaned.

This maybe a repeat. If it is just live with it ;)

I think I'm going to head to the Kroger and pickup some bratwursts, baked beans, and a potato salad .. tomorrow is supposed to be very nice, so I think it's time to do the first grilling of the season .. may try and get a couple neighbors over .. time to try and get back to the pre-Pandemic days ..

Happy Easter!

One bit of good news. I had my 2nd jab of the Moderna vaccine on Friday at noon. My arm got pretty sore, it felt like it was punched, and I was tired. I can't blame the tiredness on the shot, I wanted a nap before I got it LOL. By Sat. evening, the arm pain was diminishing and it's mostly gone today. I know I was jabbed, especially if I rub it, but otherwise no pain or discomfort. I was prepared for much worse so I'm happy.
