Any Vargas? ;)

What would a Good Girl Art Collection be without Alberto Vargas .. ?? :)

As far as a living Artist, I am partial to Milo Manara .. only his "tame" material .. although an excellent Artist.. he does get very, very racy ..

Arggh...here I sit with half a tank of juice left....need to make base and dreading it. Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy this? :(

I just say, "Janet, we're low on juice". Then in a day or so ... there it is ... restocked. :D

found these as I was digging through the archives .. :) .. sealed with original tax stamp still firmly attached .. I probably mentioned it before, but I have collected Good Girl Art for many, many years .. as odd as it may sound, I actually prefer a Woman in lingerie rather than Nude .. art wise, anyway .. ;) .. Gillette "Gil" Elvgren is a perennial favorite ..

We'll then here's another ... not a classy, artsy piece but the theme seems right.

I just look at it as a chore to be done. I started making about 600+ ml of juice at a time so I didn't have to drag out the stuff so often. And yes, it's nice to have the base already mixed so I try to keep that topped up.

Good morning to the young at heart.:) Still no power.

Geez. How many days has it been? Any word on when they think it'll be back on? So sorry you're stuck with this problem!

I'm c/pasting this from the Back Porch! It just keeps things a bit easier for me right now.
********************************************

No time to read back and I know a few of you wanted an update on my hubby.

Tests revealed a heart ejection fraction of 15%, so we are now waiting for a LifeVest Defibrillator. Cardiologist is suspicious that it may have been caused by a virus, and if so, that virus needs to run it course, and at that time, the percentage could go up. If the ejection fraction increases to 35%, that will negate the need of a defibrillator implant.

My thoughts are very disjointed and needless to say, we are all on high alert, and it is not a nice feeling.

Please pray that my man, Peter, will be restored to a good quality of life!!!! He is my world!!

Will keep you updated as much as I can.

It was a beautiful day for a late afternoon stroll around the yard. That and we were checking the tree tops for hawk nests. We've frequently spotted a Red Tail Hawk scoping our property for prey, even sitting on our back porch railing. While out today 2 of them were riding the wind circling over head. A couple times they folded their wings in and we thought they were going to dive and 'go for something', but nope must just be part of catching the right currents.

I planted these trees when they were only a little taller than Janet.

And all these trees too, I planted years ago. I'm proud of my small piece of this earth.
