Good morning. Wow, the sun is shining and I see blue sky! Of course it's only 34 degrees, but the sun is shining! No rain!
Poor Mike went on a fly fishing trip Friday and came home Sat. afternoon. We've had so much rain the fisher people couldn't even go in the water - too dangerous due to the high, fast flowing water.
Soon after getting home Mike said he felt like he was getting sick. Yep, by bedtime he had a 100.4 fever. No fever this morning, but he's still in bed. I'll covid test him when he gets up.
I am so glad you shared that because it warmed my
heart!

Hmmm, birds don't smack into the windows when they're dirty. Could the universe be telling me something?
I have gotten so I like the self-checkouts because I can pack those bags the way
I like them the proper way. I do, however, feel the company should give me a small discount for doing it. Considering the amount of shoplifting that these self-checkout enables, I think it would be cheaper just to pay a cashier and offer good customer service like in the old days. Omgosh, I'm an o'l fart.

When our grocery store started letting people scan their own products as they shopped I wondered about what would stop people from just putting stuff in their bags. I asked one of the staff about it and they said there's cameras everywhere. Evidently one couple scanned all their stuff except for several choice cuts of meat. Security met them at the check-out so I guess it works. As usual people will still find a way to beat the system though. Still, it makes you wonder about a store finding it cheaper to do it this way than to pay people.
On another note. This Apothecarium advertisement is most annoying. I "X" it out and it pops up every 12 seconds. It's interfering with seeing the posts and constantly having to get rid of it. Now it's on the bottom, but comes and goes every 15 seconds or so. Arrrrgh!
