I think that is pretty neat. I can see where it would come in handy doing a lot of things. Do you do gardening? I guess because of your avatar, I think of roses. I wonder if people think of rats from mine. heehee View attachment 973439
I try to do a little gardening still, a few container plants. My avi comes from the days I grew over 1200 roses and dug up to 30 holes per day. Of course, I can't do any of that any longer but I still love roses. I have about 8 now, I think.

Good morning to all. Nice way to wake up...won a contest here on ECF. That hasn't happened in a long time.

Janet has one of those and likes it. Matter of fact, she used it yesterday when painting the chair railing in the dinning room. Beat bending over and she could work at just the right height while sitting on it.

I actually think it is and I am jealous. So glad you have help and I know it is going to look fantastic. I have been reading where a lot of people are painting. Must be SPRING FEVER!

    Hola .. :)

Is that some sort of innuendo .. ??;)

Well the exciting part was that we got the room done in one day and the furniture put back in place. At our age, now that's exciting.

Morning, bohemians, and happy Sunny Day! Yeah, that's what's on the agenda, making it 2 in a row! Of course, it won't last, and of course it does make the dandelions grow fast.... and just who the heck designed it so they grow 10 times faster than the grass????

Good morning! Yep, David, it's sunny here too. Going up to 72 today!

Yep, Mike beat me to it, but I have one exactly like yours. I really like it and it does come in handy, but be careful. When sitting on it keep your weight forward or you'll quickly end up on your back!

    What is it?
Combination seat and kneeler. Super advantage is that you have two supports to help you rise from kneeling. The only thing I can think of as an improvement would be grippy pads where it contacts the floor (for an indoor only version) so it wouldn't skid around on a hard smooth floor (wood, tile, etc.). I love mine.

Here's my latest project. I got tired of picking towels up off the floor, especially in the bathroom. As grateful as I am, especially when the little guys are here, that they do wash their hands it's a given the towel will be on the floor after they breeze past it. Hopefully this will solve that problem. Now I'm making them for our kids homes too.

Oh my, I can't imagine that many roses in one place. I bet you have some wonderful pictures. From what I have read, there is an art to growing and caring for roses. Such beautiful flowers. I like your new avi too.

    Hi, Lizards!

I had typed up a post a few days ago, but apparently I didn’t actually hit the “post reply” button when finished. Grrrrr. Oh well, it was nothing exciting anyway.

My nephew is home, doing well, and seems to be in good spirits. It sure was great to see him. I just hope he sticks with his counseling sessions and new medication…it seems to be helping so far. I did feel bad for him because his allergies are giving him a rough way to go. Tis the season for sure - SO MUCH POLLEN EVERYWHERE. My car is dark gray, but there is currently a yellow tinge to it because it needs a good wash.

I’m off to go clean some of the junk out of my car. I have to take it for an oil change tomorrow, and right now it’s a mess. I got side tracked today and didn’t get around to cleaning it, but I can at least get the tools and empty soda bottles and the dog blanket outta there so the mechanic doesn’t think I’m living in it!

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your Sunday!

That is wonderful news to read. He has family and support, it is up to him now. Continued good thoughts for him.

I wouldn't care how dirty it was or even if they thought I lived in it. That is unless they give a discount for tidiness. Then I would. heehee Laie_11.gif

The pollen is falling like crazy in NC. Looking out the sliding glass door today reminded me of the last time it snowed. I have only blown out the gutters once but judging from all that has fallen this weekend, I will probably do it again soon. Evidently, dad thinks clean gutters are next to godliness or something. Oh well, I don't mind doing it. The backpack blower feels good vibrating on my back. unnamed.gif

    Morning, loungers.

Rain is back, more snow up high.

My car is dark gray, but there is currently a yellow tinge to it because it needs a good wash.

Same here, although one car is silver and one black. At least with the rain a lot of it goes away on its own :)

1200!!! You grew them at your home? That would be something to see!! I nursed just 1 rose bush that started out beautiful, but I didn't do something properly and after a few years it just didn't come up again.

View attachment 973492 Oh, they look great Janet. What a novel idea. It is fun to do projects and even better when they turn out useful too. Good job.

Novel? Really? And here I thought it was an idea that was around forever and I just figured out how to make them. Maybe it's a local thing and I just assumed everyone knew what they were. They're so easy to make and you can get a dishtowel at the Dollar Store and cut it in half to make 2 so it's not expensive. In fact, it's a good way to use up leftover yarn.

Glad to hear your nephew is doing ok. You must be relieved.

Ha Ha! If your mechanic's office looks anything like ours I'm sure he won't mind whatever you have in your car as long as he can get behind the wheel and you bring your checkbook.

For years, I've had towels that have a built in button loop that I use to hang on my stove door handle .. I suppose they still make those, although mine were left by my last Woman, don't know where she got them but they sure are handy .. :)
