You need to get out more ..
I could not agree more, Willie.

On a brighter note, I do have exciting plans in 123 days. I told a friend about her favorite band coming to our town. I mentioned I would love to see it and lo and behold, the next morning I got an email from her saying she had got us tickets.

The concert is outside so I hope it is nice and pretty. And if it's raining, well I hope I win the wet t-shirt contest. Either way, I am going to have a good time.

The concert is Jamey Johnson and Blackberry Smoke with Megan Moroney. I don't know her but I really enjoy the headliners. I can't wait. And yes, I have a countdown widget on my phone. You should not be surprised.

Good morning. Kinda overcast and only going to 52 today, but at least it's not supposed to rain. That's nice because I'm headed to our daughter's house this afternoon. Be back on Sunday.

I had my coffee today. There are two bottles of wine in the fridge and I keep a bag of chocolate on my bedtable. Dark, of course, I'm into healthy lifestyles. View attachment 973623

Now explain to me why I walked all winter in shorts and did not get cold but it is 70 today and I had to come in and get a jacket because I was chilly. My thermostat is definitely malfunctioning. But it is a beautiful day and I had a lovely walk. View attachment 973624

Hope everyone is having a great day.

When my cardiologist told me no caffeine he added, that means no chocolate either. They must have heard me in the waiting room, "No chocolate!!!" Well, I promptly ignored that one, but I did switch to decaf coffee. So far nobody has decided dark choc is not good for you anymore and if they have, please don't tell me.

Isn't it weird how temperatures work? I was thinking the other day that I sure would like to fire up the fireplace, but it was almost 60 degrees outside. Why did I feel cold like it was freezing cold outside? Probably should have had the fire anyway but I was too lazy to get off the couch.

I’ve found the older I get, the colder I get.

    Morning, all.

More rain, but maybe some sun breaks. True to form, the last couple days it's been sunny until one goes out to do something. Then deluge, until 5 minutes after you've gone back in to dry off. And still on the cool side, but getting closer to normal.

    Hola .. :)

Despite being a heart patient for quite some time now, I continue to pretty much eat whatever I want, just in smaller amounts .. and, I cut down on the booze and the weed .. I'm not a Monk, life only offers a few visceral pleasures and the Reaper will come a knockin' regardless of what you do .. consider Euell Gibbons ..

Shlepped the deck plants out yesterday, planted some bulbs, mowed, did a quick deck warsh, not necessarily in that order .. made Breakfast for Dinner .. eggs over easy, biscuits and gravy and sausage patties ..

Settled in and watched the Dolly Parton documentary on Netflix .. it's a little bit of a puff piece, but, none the less, Dolly is a National Treasure and proves you can chart your own path and stick with your way of thinking ..

“I am a self-made woman, and I have the doctor bills to prove it.”

Still not vaping or feel the need to. I’m keeping my favorite devices and coils…just in case but it’s been about 6 weeks.

Giving my PG /VG/nic to a friend in town and he also wants my provari dragon. I have no idea what it’s worth these days and can’t find it on any websites for sale. Any suggestions?

I suggest you give your friend something else.

Congrats on the non-vaping. That is great because it was your choice. Six weeks is a good amount of time and you know best, but I personally, would hold on to all equipment and supplies for a little longer to be sure.

How are you feeling? That's what I want to know. I hope a whole lot better.

Recovery is slow but my doc warned me it would.

I’m not selling everything. I’m keeping enough that if some reason I want to vape again I have plenty of everything I would need except juice. I thought about keeping the nic but I don’t think I would need it. In those early days of not vaping I had no withdrawal like I did when I tried to quit before. I would just have to buy PG/VG and flavoring.
