Good morning. We are under a heat advisory, supposed to be 105 to 110 this week. It is blazing hot out there and it is only 7:40.

Morning, all.
No rain yesterday, and no sun. Temp didn't make the mid 60s, but nice weather for weed whacking.

It is already 90 and supposed to get up to 95 today. It is hot to me. I walked for 50 minutes and need to go wring my bra out. Score one for the guys.

Not as nasty hot as some but with high humidity and temp at 84 degrees it's definitely not nice being outside.

Yesterday was brutal, I puttered around in the yard some with liberal use of the hose as a cooling mechanism .. fried up some of that imported Myrtle Beach shrimp I brought back for dinner last evening .. settled in for 'The Northman' on Peacock streaming and consumed most of a bottle of wine while I was at it ..
UPS guy delivered a package to me today and he was soaking wet with sweat at 9:30 AM ..
I'm in for an extended period of heat and humidity with no rain in sight ..

Gosh, I had no idea when I awakened that I would have a productive day. I love it when that happens.
Since the bra was already at maximum saturation level, I decided to vacuum the inside of the Honda and get it cleaned up. I have some Invisible Glass from Amazon on the way that should get here in a couple of days and I will try it out then and hope for no streaks.
Was going to wash the car but dad said it was not good to do it in the sun. I have never let that stop me before but hey, I'm a people pleaser. heehee
Do you know how people used to wash cars to collect money for a good cause? Never saw it done at night. heehee We have an exotic carwash place here where the girls wash the cars topless. I am 100% sure dad would not complain about streaks if I lost my mind and took him there. heehee I am not sure why but I am thinking about the Karate Kid movie. Wax on, Wax off.

That is, IMO, much more sexy than topless carwash ladies .. Lucille / Joy Harmon played that scene for all it was worth ..
We are having higher than normal temps but not too hot. Today's typical high is 87° and our high is 94°. I'm glad it isn't real high temps; I won't have the new fan motor won't be put in until Friday.
I like the new lamp, I'm not sure I would use another but I'll just think about it and see how it goes.

It's 4 o'clock and I just got finished washing 3 loads of clothes and making tea and tuna fish salad for tomorrow. We just had a very short thunderstorm and a quick shower. Of course it rained. I cleaned and conditioned the trim on the Honda. grrrr
I am glad we are not quite as hot as some of you but today it is supposed to be 98 and that is still rather warm.

It is 81 here and it is only 3:30 in the morning. Oh boy, this will be a record for the electric bill.
