Yes! Because it's that good. You like peanuts sometimes, maybe it's time to try eating pb again. It's not just for putting on mouse traps you know.

Pssst .. (has Mike really never had a PB&J ..? You can tell me, I won't blab .. )

My 13.5 year old Maytag range is dying. What brand range do you have and what do you like/don't like about it. Your answers will be most appreciated :)

I have to say, I'm not a wealth of knowledge on ovens .. I have an electric / smooth top / self cleaning Kenmore that I bought about 10 or 11 years ago when I remodeled the kitchen .. I bought it at a Sears Outlet store and paid about half the retail price at the time .. it's served me well during that time .. although, I will admit, it does not get what I would consider heavy use .. ;)

Now, if you need advice on audio / video / computer equipment, bring it on .. :)

Good morning,Janet:) Getting colder here, Think winter has arrived.37 for today maybe.

Good morning Fran. It's 34 here, going all the way up to 44 today. We had our first winter weather alert for this morning. With the temps so low and a gentle "wintry mix" falling, the roads are expected to be slippery. That's a good reason to stay home and be grateful we don't have to be out in it.
I had some of that wintry mix this morning as well. 36 here....trying for a high of 46. but...it's holding a warm 70 here in my apartment...

We're just in a slow news cycle .. ;) .. besides, you categorically denied ever eating a PB&J sandwich, in your entire life .. you're just being encouraged to check that off the Bucket List .. ;)
Confession time: I've never had a PB&J sammy either.

I guess it's never too late to lay out some Breakfast .. :)

Love Maytags! Of course now they're owned by Whirlpool.

Bucket List #2 .. ;)

So I will eat them in a box.
And I will eat them with a fox.
And I will eat them in a house.
And I will eat them with a mouse.
And I will eat them here and there.
Say! I will eat them Anywhere .. ;)

There seems to be no avoiding the Peanut Butter & Jelly Jag .. so, in that case, the best policy is to just play along .. ;) .. so, I will simply say :: I don't often have a PB&J, however, when I do :: The freshest of White Wonder Bread, with a generous portion of Peanut Butter, and an even more Generous Portion of Smuckers Grape Jelly / or Strawberry Jam, the sandwich must be held in a napkin so the jelly / jam does not run out on your hand ..

Any additional ingredients such as Banana / Bacon / etc, can add some additional Culinary delectability, however, I always lean towards the Classics, myself .. :)

As with most all sandwiches, IMO, the freshness of the bread is the key .. :)

Whether it's Chunky or Smooth
That really Hits your Groove
Just Don't Get Your Jelly
Out of a Tube .. ;)

Ooooh peanut butter!!! Have had this conversation about Crunchy Jif and it gets my vote all the time, but have had to give a couple of unopened jars to the Church pantry cause it's on Peter's no-no list.....can't buy that again!! :)

Oh noooo !
Can't he even eat "natural" peanut butter ?

...I like apricot preserves or orange marmalade on my peanut butter sandwiches :)

Many years ago Consumer Reports ran tests on all the PB for contaminants... rodent feces, hairs, insect parts, etc. Jif came up as the cleanest of them all and the only one I'll buy. During the years since, there have been several recalls on a number of brands of PB....Jif has never been on that list...;)
