Boy that is not me. I want all I can get. How else can I learn? I have a little Baretta but I know it would only irritate someone. If you don't mind me asking you, what do you think of the Kimber Micro9? That is the one I am thinking about asking Santa to bring me.

If you have any suggestions for a cc, I would appreciate it. You seem to be quite knowledgeable.

I think it's called stress and depression. However, I'm starting to get a bit better.
I can surely understand that but I am so glad that you are starting to feel better. My doctor wanted me to try an antidepressant and I have been giving it a chance for a couple of months but other than I don't think my joints are hurting quite as bad, I haven't been able to tell a big difference. I will give it a little longer to make sure. I hope you continue to feel a little better every day.

That is how I ended up with 3 chainsaws and 3 drills.
I don't mean to chuckle at that but how do you hide a chainsaw from yourself?

That is one of the very few things that I have never done. heehee It really is a good idea to have a backup though so I think it is a good thing.

Easy, you pile a ton of other junk in front of it and forget which of the garages/sheds, etc that you put it in. You might also forget that you already bought one.....lol

Whoa! Are you the first one here to get snow this season? We were at 70 degrees today, but will be going down to the 40s by Monday.

No snow expected here in PA for another month at least. That first snow seems to throw everybody for a loop which makes me happy I'm retired. If the weather is bad I just stay home til it clears.

You just keep adding to your skills
That's a skill? Do I need to add that to my profile if I join a dating sight? Just kidding. I did that several years ago and the first night I got on it and look at who was near me, I saw my very married brother-in-law had an ad on there. I just closed my account and have never been back on a dating site. I bet there are bunches of married men on there pretending. Grrrr Made me mad. I am sure there are a lot of success stories too but I don't think it is for me.
We were at 70 degrees today,
We have had unseasonably warm weather here also. 70's here too. We had a tornado warning one day but it did not do anything. I think we are supposed to get real cold first of the week too. It's time for a little cold weather but I'm not ready for any snow. We do not have much of that here anyway. Just a few dustings.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I have been rather lazy all day. Other than take a short walk I did nuttin'. It is so nice to be able to do that.

Judging from the leaves on the ground, you would think all the leaves were down but nope, a bunch hanging on in the trees. I am still planning to get the neighbor's leaves up ONE TIME this year and that is all.

Happy Sunday to everyone when it gets here.

Kimber firarms are a top tier firearms. They are out of my price range. If you do get one from Santa, you could not get a better CC weapon.

Good morning. Today begins our final week before we move. We've got stacks of boxes to move to our daughters, stacks to be moved to storage and stuff still here that we need for living until we move. I'll be so relieved when it's all over. Although the house is a mess it certainly feels simpler and more spacious.

Yesterday our buyers came over with their designer to take measurements of the kitchen. They're looking to expand the kitchen into the dining room. I'm looking forward to coming back in a year or two to see how they've changed things.

Moving is just awful…so much to do and never enough time. Hang in there…you’re almost done!

I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday! It’s cold and gray here, temps in the low 40’s. I have a purring cat in my lap and I’m fighting the urge to take a nap.

The cat happens to be Kiki, the neighbor’s cat. She never did go back home! The neighbor stopped by back in the summer to let us know he may be moving (he was renting the house but the owner was going to sell it). He asked us to stop feeding her so that maybe she would go back home, he said he didn’t want to traumatize her and just snatch her up and take her back home since she’d been hanging out here for a few weeks. I thought that seemed a little odd, but okay, whatever. Well, we stopped feeding her, and she got to where she would try to run in the house every time the door was opened. She is a BIG cat, but very fast when she wants to be. It was also getting super hot around this time, and she’s a rag doll kitty with LOTS of hair. Even with no food, she refused to go home.

I told Hubs that I couldn’t understand why he didn’t just come get the cat and take her home. I figured if he was THAT worried about her, he would have. I felt sorry for her and it was super hot out, so we gave her flea meds and let her come in out of the heat. She is fed and watered and can go out and back in as she pleases. The neighbor hasn’t been back to check on her, and I think he may have bought the house because he is still there. I got nosy and looked online, and the house was listed as being sold in September.

I guess she still isn’t technically my cat, but I am taking care of her. I stopped by after work about three weeks ago to ”remind“ him that she was still here, but no one answered the door. It’s a weird situation! Hubs says he must not care too much about her, and as far as HE’S concerned, our home is her home now. I asked him what he was gonna do if the neighbor came looking for her and he said he’d tell him to go kick rocks (well, that’s the much cleaner version, anyway lol).

So ends today’s crazy cat lady episode of “As the World Turns”…
