Morning, all.

Claim is clouds will be coming in, but any rain will be north of us. Temps probably mid 40s,

Do keep in mind that, for the last 10 years or so, Phil has been wrong 60% of the time. Yeah, hold me up in the air in front of a mass of giants, I'd want to run back to my hidey hole too!!

Pretty boring here so not much to share. I need to work on that.

There's a Zumba class for seniors on Friday mornings (the group doesn't want to admit that it's for seniors, but I'm clearly the youngest at 65). We're an uncoordinated group, seldom doing the same thing at the same time, but no one cares. The music and choreography are fun and it's a good workout. Even my non-dancing, 2 left feet husband, who I had to drag to the class, is enjoying it.

The wind howling outside, and it's supposed to go down to -10 tonight. Plans for the weekend are to stay inside and warm!

What is up with the minimal posting around here? I hope that means everyone has a more exciting life than me. View attachment 989663

It has become a Fri-Yay night thing but I am doing dinner/movie night again with my friend. He wanted to bring something but I told him I wanted to cook. It's more fun when it is not expected. heehee He is so o'l school. He said that was fine but give him the receipt so he could pay me for it. I am sure there are still guys around like him but I just have not run across many in my lifetime. It is nice.

I used to take my aunt a plate of food when I made meatloaf because she said it was so good so that is what is on the menu for tonight. I also like having slices frozen in the fridge for a quickie. I bought some fresh brussels sprouts too so I am going to air-fry them again since we liked them before. Going to serve with mashed potatoes and garlic cheddar biscuits. View attachment 989664 I have apple strudel to bake while we watch the movie. The house will smell so good. (I hope) They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach so you can't say I am not trying! View attachment 989667

My cousin is coming into town this weekend so I will try to stop by there for a visit but other than that, I have nothing else. Anyone here got any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm never nosy, I'm inquisitive. View attachment 989666

Have a great day you quiet folk heehee!

I remember years(?) ago, we had a conversation on how to clean the vaping film off the inside windshield. I believe someone said what to use and there were tools to be able to reach the whole windshield. If anyone has suggestions, please post. TIA!

Well sometimes, that is the best weekend! I have always been a homebody/hermit until recently. At some point, I will slow down. I am still rejoicing in the fact that I can go off by myself and go whenever I want and wherever I want. I am pretty sure this is how felons feel when they get paroled.

And you can just keep that up your way.

Well if the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, I made some headway tonight. He asked for seconds on the meatloaf. That's a good sign.

My friend likes to go on drives so he asked me if I would like to go to High Rock Lake Sunday. It is only 50 miles from here but I have never been there. I know people go there to water ski. I love going to new places!

I have no desire to go back and ski this summer. I went tubing a long, long time ago. Because my hands were not very strong, I thought it was a good idea to just sit in the tube. It was not. It looked like I had dunked my .... in a bucket of purple paint. I must say it was a lovely shade though.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.

Totally agree. It was recommended to me a few years ago. Best cleaner I ever used for car windows. Janet even started using it on the house windows and now used nothing else.

You can find it with ‘auto’ and/or ‘home’ in its name. It’s the same product regardless. I checked with the company about that.

Hum, I just saw a blank post until I quoted it. Yes, that is the tool and the Invisible Glass is the cleaner. Thank you!!!!!

Still don't see Storm52's post when I click to post my message but I saw it in the quote and was able to go to the link.

Has anyone tried both the regular version of the Invisible Glass Cleaner and the Invisible Glass Premium Cleaner? I've linked to the Premium one below. It seems odd that the Premium version is lower priced than the regular. The regular is ($0.14 / Fl Oz) if I buy 4 32oz. bottles. The premium is just ($0.09 / Fl Oz) even if I buy individual 22 oz. bottles of it. Both are manufactured by STONER. Am I missing something about either or both of them?

    Hi, Lizards!

I don’t post a lot, mainly because I am boring. I go to work, come home, do the necessary stuff, and that’s about it. Today me and Hubs went to WalMart…we don’t do that too often because he hates shopping. Unfortunately, that’s the biggest excitement I’ve had in a few days! Oh, I did buy a new book while we were there. “The Institute” by Stephen King. I may get started on that tonight. I have the Kindle app on my iPad, but I thought I’d buy the print version in case my coworker wants to borrow it when I’m done. He is a big Stephen King fan, too.

I had my follow up with the doc yesterday, and she decided that I didn’t need blood pressure meds just yet. She thinks if I exercise and cut out the salt, I’ll be fine. I hope she is right! I was told to check my BP a few times a week and call her if it starts creeping higher. It was high in the office, but far lower than last time. The pain from my neck is much better than it was, so I feel like that may have been part of it, too.

Hubs made an online order at Lowe’s, and we picked that up today. It was the first time I had experienced using those “locker” thingies. It felt like something I may have seen in The Jetsons cartoons lol. I guess that’s the new thing, as I saw that our WalMart has a new section of them in the front of the store. Some of those lockers looked like they may be tough for a short person to reach...seems like it would defeat the point if you had to chase someone down to get your stuff out for you. Hopefully I won’t have to find out!

I hope you all are having a good weekend

It's an Amazon thing keep the customer quessing. Here's another example. The premium single bottle 22 fl oz is .09 cents per oz and the primium 4 pack of 22 oz bottles is .30 cents per oz . Also both 'items' are shown as 'sold by Amazon'. Perhaps they figure in shipping, costs more to send 4 bottles than 1 bottle. :)

Also note, the word 'premium' is only in the item description, not on the bottle.
