Good afternoon to everyone. The little
adventurer has returned and is quite content might I add. heehee
You cannot believe how proud I am of stepping out of my comfort zone and enjoying life. I drove for a little over 5 hours and never once got scared. Well, there was one time that I and another truck had to drive off the lane into the shoulder to pass a car that was stopped. It did not scare me at the time but about 10 minutes later, I start getting clammy and thought about what could have happened. But then I was proud of myself for reacting so fast and handling it the way I did.
I also do not have the words to express my wonderful long weekend at that beautiful cabin partly in the water. (if they had been calling for torrential rains, it would have scared me to death) heehee

We slept with the sliding door open so we could hear the water and this is the view I saw every morning (after I put on my glasses) heehee

It was amazing. That rocking chair is where I had my morning coffee (and donut) holding hands with a very nice guy who for some reason seems to really like me.

After we started drinking he handed me his coffee cup and said this says it all about how he felt about me.

(I think he is a romantic and I was sopping that up like biscuits with gravy)
That wonderful man cooked my supper two nights on an open wood firepit. There was no propane
tank for their gas grill so he improvised. One night we had ribeyes, baked potato, and salad. And the other night we had grilled Italian sausages, corn on the cob, and salad. The man even took me out to eat several times and got me to eat a big breakfast and a lunch. My tummy was like what the heck are you doing and don't stop.
He asked me if I like flea markets and antique stores and spent most of Saturday visiting several he found close by. I had such a wonderful time and talked to everyone I met. And he did too. Such a friendly guy. We have so many things in common that it is almost scary. He played music on a Bluetooth speaker all weekend and I bet there were not 2 songs that I had never heard from his personal playlist. We sat swinging on the front porch for hours listening and he even sang along to the songs. (not a bad singer at all and I loved that too).
I can't add any more pictures to this post so I am going to have to continue in another one. You had to know I was going to have a mega post.
