As of now both ends of the shower need cement board and one more side of the sink needs to be cut. When this will happen I don't have a clue.
He went home to Florida this past weekend. I offered to drive down there but he did not want me to drive on a holiday weekend. I really did want to but he also said he wanted some time to himself. I'm okay with that. He ended up getting a pinched nerve in his back and going to a chiropractor. He seems to be in a lot of pain and I am not sure how he is going to climb up into that big truck. I hope it is better and I hope he has not decided I have way too many issues to keep coming to see me. I really would not blame him. We have seen each other a lot in the 73 days we have been dating. That is about all anyone can take of me.Are you still talking to Dan? You haven't mentioned him in awhile.
Totally agree with you. You'd think the students were never told what their tuition was going to be. And like you said, the majors chosen were not likely going to give them the salary they dream about. Although the accounting graduates that were hired out of college where I worked definitely turned out not to have much of a work ethic and soon decided changes needed to be made at the office to accommodate them. Another co-worker had a Subway franchise and couldn't get reliable help. The stories she told!Ever since it first came up as a 'topic', I've kinda been riding the old fence on the issue of Student Loan forgiveness .. while I understand many young folks get saddled with a big dept load, to me, they went into it with eyes wide open .. I suppose figuring that the degree would be worth it and they would eventually pay up ..
On the other hand, I think we ended up in a time where many students, who were taught they were somehow 'special', decided to attend college and go for the Dream Job .. you know, like any sort of Artist or other profession that's a long, if not impossible slog to making any real money ..
Then, you've got that whole sub-faction of people that went to college, ended up with a big loan, and, lo and behold, put their nose to the grindstone and paid the thing .. do they get a rebate by having done the right thing .. ??
In ways, forgiving these loans is continued enabling of a society that already drifts toward entitlement philosophies ..
Then, of course, there used to be a time when there was free or low cost college, if my memory serves ..
I served my Country, voluntarily, and for that service and an Honorable Discharge, I used the GI Bill .. IMO, more should try it .. the Military is currently begging for people .. but, it's become kind of an easy ride these days as well .. the core principal of Discipline has weak Kung Fu within a good swath of the Military today .. which really mirrors the Discipline of a good portion of young folks these days ..
Flipping a burger around these parts will get you $15 bucks an hour just for showing up .. yet, places still can't get and retain any, even mediocre, employees ..
There is no real answer, but it just seems to me, forgiving a debt just because, is not the Worlds Greatest Idea ..
Why not tether it to some sort of Community Service work and at least try and get something out of that 'gift' .. ??
I am still around and doing fine, just been busy and not vaping much anymore. No real reason except I don't feel I need it all the time anymore. I sure hope Bea gets relief from her new doctor. Her dear Husband is a saint.
Hope all is well for everyone else!
I thought the procedure was recently approved? I can't stand anyone near my eyes so I dunno. Don't know how I ever managed tattoo eyeliner.Good you got your license.
MIL suffered from MD, and did get the shots. Yeah, spooky. But they did work for her, not only slowing the progression but fixing it some. And she passed about 5 years back so likely even better now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, however, consistent vape use is really not a requirement to stick around ..
Just a thought ..![]()
I'm glad you're satisfied with it as a window cleaner and now you've taught me something. I'll have to try it when cleaning off the dash, etc next time I clean the car.Mike is probably not going to remember this, but a while back, after I biatched about glass cleaners that were ineffective and left streaks, he recommended Invisible Glass .. I bought some and have used it ever since .. not just on the truck, but house windows as well ..
At any rate, it was overcast most of the day yesterday and I decided to get crackin' on detailing the truck, which sorely needed it .. when I finished the interior windshield, rather than get out and get some other cleaning product for the dash and what not, I got lazy and just used the Invisible Glass .. it appeared to be a superior cleaner for the interior areas as well ..
Winning ..
It's the small things ..

What kind of person would spend that much on a little plastic toy that is not even cute?
