Over the last few years, around these parts, vape shops have practically sprung up like weeds .. they also tend to sell paraphernalia related to, er, 'other' alternative weed related products ..

At any rate, I periodically drop in at one from time to time that is owned and run by a guy from Turkey, and he is a Muslim, he wears the Shemagh Headscarf / turban, although I sometimes question his choices (in my head), based on the way things are these days and the general leaning of the populace in my area .. but, that's neither here nor there ..

Today, I decided to broaden my horizons and purchased a lost vape Orion Bar in the Ice Cap flavor, which he suggested was the closest to the menthol that I always use .. this is a disposable, claimed good for 7500 hits and is rechargeable as well as having air flow control ..

It's pretty good .. menthol with a hint of mint .. actually, pretty tasty .. the nic is that salt based, 5%, which I don't really know how that translates into my usual classic PG/VG 8mg, but, hit it a couple times in quick succession and I get a little head rush, and I'm not hitting it that hard ..

Things sure have evolved in our 'hobby' ..

Good morning. Gonna be a cloudy, mild day here, going up to 50.

@Uncle Willie - Lost Vape Orion, never heard of that one. It looks like a stealth vape mod? You can re-charge it, but can you refill the juice? We've settled in with our mods so we haven't even looked at the new ones out there for a long time.

Today is our youngest grandson's 5th birthday. The family went snow boarding for 3 days and they'll be returning today. Both boys, ages 5 and 7, have never tried snowboarding, but from the video they sent, it look like they took to it just fine. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Yesterday I got back to using the treadmill. I might just stick to doing it each day because we have it in the basement where I can watch tv while walking. It was pretty boring in our old house with nothing to distract me except looking out the window. Now, if my knees hold out and my feet don't hurt I might just keep up the exercise.

Morning, loungers.

Still too warm here, although the freezing level is still about 5K. Maybe some light snow to add to it, but...

Both boys, ages 5 and 7, have never tried snowboarding,

I suspect they had fun!

Too warm here also. 44 for today. Dirt roads around here are very muddy. We should see sun by Sunday.

Not one flake here recently. We've had some, but didn't stick around because it warmed up. We'll be getting into the low 40's the next 10 days, but there's a very low chance of any precipitation. I'd really like to see some snow here. Oh well, Feb. is coming and that's usually our snow month.

Yep, really sort of peaceful. As long as the power stays on ;)

I am fully prepared for about any Apocalyptic event .. at least, short of Nuclear War, since it's very tough to plan for that one .. and, at any rate, we'd all be screwed pretty much, anyway

It was an impulse buy .. the dude actually opened a new one and let me try it .. then sold me one still in the box .. no refill ability, yet supposedly good for 7500 hits .. tasty, yet quite potent compared to my go to ..

You bought something new, and .... didn't freeze over. Well I'll be damned!

That comes out to be 50 mg/ml... Yeah, fast buzz!!

    Morning, loungers,

Just a few squalls yesterday, and it seems the temp has finally decided to go a bit lower. But still over freezing here. Snow line said to be coming down to around 2500' soon, closer to where it should be this time of year.

Silly Grampa, that's all I wear at this season! :)
