I agree with that one.Happy New Year everyone! Getting older has its advantages. New Years morning I'm not hung over.
So we went to bed about 10:30 last night and put the tv on to maybe catch the ball drop. Sure enough, we both nodded off and woke up to hear them say Happy New Year and good night. We missed the whole thing! What a couple of old f___s we are!

DH and I looked at each other around 11pm and said it's midnight somewhere so HNY! For some reason, we both were up around 1am. Quick look at each other, 'oh well, we missed it' and back to sleep!

I'm sensing a trend .. I was watching a show, dog sleeping in lap, sitting in recliner, fully intending to switch to the Ball Drop feed to catch that and any fireworks ..
Blink, I'm out like a light and woke up at 1:30 AM ..
Then, to top it all off, on NY Day, I forgot to eat some black eye peas ..
If you Amazon Prime, do yourself a favor and watch 'The Sound of Freedom' .. it's a tough show to watch, at times, yet it conveys a message we all need to hear as it relates to one of the reasons we have migrants seeking asylum ..

I missed the good morning so, Good evening folks,
Now if my left hand would just stop feeling numb all the time, that would be a good start for the New Year. It started before Christmas and is still with me. Yuck!

Well, The Little Rat returned from her travels. It was my 6th trip to Tennessee. It is such a beautiful state.
Between my back still bothering me (no spasms, just hurting) and my sciatic that seems to bother me every time we go, it was a very long trip home. Ken had to stop more often for me to walk around. Took a lot longer than the usual 8 1/2 hours. We did not get in until 1 this morning.
Enjoyed Christmas with his family. We left there and went to Ken's place which is a camper. I did not know how I would like it but I was pleased with it. Other than he needs a couch. I took my camping chair and I think that might have added to my back issues. He had not stayed in it for quite some time so I did do some cleaning and of course, rearranging. Things just have to make sense to me and he said he did not care what I did. I like that in a man!
I did not want to go out on New Year's like he did. We ended up staying in the camper, eating the chili he fixed, and had a wonderful (and quiet) evening. I think that was a great way to start the year.
I added a few new resolutions to go along with the always-included ones on my list. I just changed the year on my list and I am good to go. I think it is going to be a great year and not just because it is an even year.
I am not sure what is going to happen but I think it will be good.

I saw white specks on my black sweater for just a minute and was disappointed. I wanted to see snow so bad.
We went to eat New Year's day and I got the pork and collards but they did not have black-eyed peas on the menu. I was shocked. That is what my mom always had on New Year's eve to eat. I refuse to believe I am not going to have any good luck though. I am an optimist.
I had problems with both of my hands going numb. After they started being numb and hurting, I finally went to the doctor, They gave me a nerve conductivity test and I had Carpel Tunnel in both. It was helped with having them both operated on. Hope you get better on your own but get it checked out if it continues.
