I have been chillin' so much lately that I felt like I had to get out and be productive (other than laundry). Got the truck all cleaned up on the inside from our trip. Got up about 4 five gallon buckets of wild onion that have been driving me crazy in the yard. Mowed a small section up at the house and edged the sidewalk.

I had a coupon for a free dessert from Longhorn so we went and had steaks tonight. It was very tender and very good but not nearly as good as the ones Ken grilled out. Boy, is Longhorn pricey.

We brought the Chocolate Stampede dessert home and just split half one piece. That dessert is huge. I would not have paid that much but since I had a coupon, I had to get it.

heehee

I go tomorrow morning to get the permanent crown put on. The temp has done beautifully. It should not take too long. I have had enough dental issues to last for a while.

It was so windy today and quite chilly tonight. It is supposed to be really nice until the weekend when we are expecting rain. They called and said that Ken's chopper was ready to be picked up. He tried to fix it but couldn't. We can pick it up on Tuesday. It will be nice weather so he can take it for a ride. Me and my tookus prefer my bike for the comfort.

I guess since my schedule has been somewhat erratic of late, I did not notice the time change one bit. I do wish it stayed that way all year. I really like having more time to get stuff done.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

I think I heard there would be no further time changes. I rate that as somewhere between 'fat chance' and 'slim chance'.

I have not heard that but you are probably correct. I would love it if it were true. I have to get out the darn car manual two times a year because I can never remember how it is done.

And don't even get me started on the "smart" clock I bought. I was not supposed to have to change the time for 100 years and not soon after I bought it, they changed the start and stop time and my clock was no longer smart.

Good morning all!

Want to hear something I think is funny? While we were in TN, I had to drink Folgers Instant coffee because he did not have a coffee maker. I was looking forward to getting home and having a good cup of coffee but I am sitting here right now drinking Folgers because I like it.

Morning, all.

Well, so far the guessed deluge isn't happening, at least not here. A little rain, but only enough (with 45 for the high) to make any yard work no fun...

I rate that as somewhere between 'fat chance' and 'slim chance'.

Make that slim to none. Why should Congress do what most of the voters want?

We brought the Chocolate Stampede dessert home and just split half one piece.

So, uh, breakfast? ;)

We have several of the "atomic" clocks, get their time tick daily and are always correct :)

I'd gotten an atomic clock for our office and it would not work as advertised unless I moved it closer to he window. Somebody mentioned that it could be due to the metal in the building? I have no idea, but you could try moving your clock?

Good morning all. Well, it is morning and I've already had a cup of coffee. I woke up choking with drainage at 4. Ken slept right through my gasping. Sheesh! I wish I could sleep that soundly.

When we got in the truck yesterday, the check engine light would not come on like it did the last 100 miles of our trip. We took the car to Advance Auto and they checked the codes. They said it was a crankshaft position sensor. After looking at a YouTube video, Ken thinks he can put it on. I have never really had to worry about repairs because my dad or ex could always fix anything. Ken tries but I do not think he is that mechanically inclined. I will not be taking it out by myself until it is fixed, check engine light or no light. At least it not something major.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning, all.

Seems like we have real rain today. Still on the cool side, but they claim we'll be in the high 60s in just a couple days...

As long as there's decent access, yeah, should be pretty simple. Disconnect wire, unscrew. Screw in the new, connect wire.

Well, one of those IV bags needs to full of coffee...

Good morning, It's a beautiful morning here. All that wind we had yesterday is finally gone. Now I can get a good look at all the buds on the trees. They're starting to pop open! It's going to 63 today, but will feel warmer with the sunshine and no wind. Woohoo. Kisses to that silly groundhog. Looks like he was right about Spring.

We're finally going to start work on fixing our main bathroom. Gotta get rid of the freestanding bidet and replace it with the toilet. Then we can make the shower bigger. It's a huge bathroom so I don't understand why they put in such a small shower. The vinyl floor is discolored from age so that's getting replaced too. Yesterday we shopped for shower tile and new flooring. Work should begin on Monday!

Oh, and now that all the clocks have been changed I vote to just leave it alone now!

I had to mow the yard yesterday so I think that rodent can kiss mine.

Actually, I start mowing this time of year, every year. I know. I have a list.

I can't remember if I told y'all that I cleaned up the inside of the truck from our trip. I could not understand why my navy floor mats looked icky. Almost like white/blue tye dye.

I figured it out yesterday. I did not read the label and thought I was conditioning the vinyl. What I used was a headlight restorer.

It's okay. I cleaned them again and they are back to looking nice.

When we took it to get it inspected the other day, 2 men came and asked me if I was interested in selling the truck. They could not believe it was in mint condition and a 98 truck had only 53,000 original miles. I have put 4,000 on it with two trips to TN and me running around. I think everyone should have a truck or a friend who has one that you can borrow. They come in quite handy at times.
