I had closed the cats out of the room so they couldn't nab him. I know y'all probably think I am crazy...but I don't like to see any critters killed

I'm with you, Tink.....I try to get them away before they are killed and turn them loose back outside. Once I managed to catch one in a tupperware container when the cats were chasing it....so I let it go outside. And even threw out a donut so it would have something to eat.

Good Morning, Beachers....love that you slept, Sun. We do worry about you. Thanks for the great posts. And Lisa too...great posts. That is why I try to back read....too afraid I will miss good pix and songs.

Glad VG stopped by....

Today I have the granddaughter for a few hours...until mid afternoon. Then I am supposed to go with friends to a neighboring town's summer "festival"....food and street vendors, wine tasting, etc. But it is supposed to get above 90 so I might bow out of that. Throngs of people in 90+ temps are not my idea of a good time.

Hope you all are having a good Saturday and have some fun plans. If not.....enjoy your relaxing day. :)

Look...up in the sky....it's a bird, it's a plane.....

Now I am.

Neighbors slept well last night but they were so tired that they probably would sleep well on a rock!

Left early this morning. The man of the house will be back next week to get the stuff he left with us.

He also gave son a table and chairs that we are going to use on the pool deck, and a swing that we get to store until son gets a house. The latter will be almost a year!!

Son left Thursday and won't be back until Sunday so me and DH got to move the stuff. That was fun........not.

From here on I'm going to be lazy.

How's your day going?

Something to keep away the afternoon slump!:D

I didn't know women were allowed to show their panties when they danced way back in the Rita Hayworth days. I thought everything was extremely prim and proper. Really enjoyed this lively dance ... someone did a great job editing this together, and it's a lively one. Rita Hayworth was a beautiful woman.

Oh good Glam, and aloha. Thank you.:)

I wasn't ever one to watch old movies or own old things like antique collecting. I wanted new beautiful, modern things. But now I look at it differently. In fact, you wouldn't believe what I watched (listened) to this morning with coffee on uTube. It was an sold sermon preached (and written down for record) back in 1860 by a powerful, but humble and gifted preacher by the name of Charles Spurgeon. It was absolutely stunning, and I really got a lot out of it from a view different than I've seen in these modern times.

Yeah, I guess the old stuff is pretty neat and a refreshing relief from some of the modern day stuff.

Oh, jj, I'm so sorry you'll be missing beautiful neighbor friends.:( Maybe they were afraid of the bad weather and moved to So. Calif. to swap out the lightning/thunder/hail/snow/tornadoes for earthquakes/tsunamis/drought. I hope you get another household of neighbors who are as nice and fun as they were. It was so kind of you and DH to help them out with their move.:)

Sometimes I wish I could drag up and head for my DS's area in Oregon. The Marines have been shelling consistently several times a week in the evenings clear up to midnight. It used to be about 2ce a month, and now its at least 2ce a week. I have to turn my air filter on high blast to muffle out the noise, but the ground still shakes.:(
