I guess they are starting at the top and then they will hit the contract people so here is hoping. If worse comes to worse they can move in here but boy will it be crowded.

They (especially DIL) won't want to, but if he gets laid off they won't have a choice.

Engineers can always find work, if he's willing to move. There are actually millions of unfilled engineering positions in the country. They can't find qualified people.
