It's raining there, jj? I wonder if it's coming my way.

VG, when I was probably about 8-10 I fell from the top of a swing set directly onto the top of my (still forming) head. I still remember the crazy pain. I'm sure I had a concussion but I don't think I ever told anyone about it as I wouldn't have known any better. I had really strong headaches as a child, too, and still get them as an adult.

Yet, I have always had extremely intense dreams that I remember clearly; colors, smells etc. Sometimes I will suddenly recall one later in the day or a day or two after.

And yes, this could explain a lot. I have always wondered what results/damage a scan of my brain would show...

OK, had to reply to this one. They said it was only a mild concussion, but I recall being told that at an earlier point from an event that I can't remember the details of, and it was worse than Mild that time. Yes Glam, it explains a lot, but the images that run through my brain don't look like those in Lisa's GIF.


I'll leave it to your imagination to figure out what those images might be.

Nope! No numbing, was put to sleep
It's gonna be raw though after awhile, I can tell the roof of my mouth is all torn up but I was all ready having "dry mouth" issues so I'm not surprised by that. Right now just a lot of bleeding ... hoping I don't get nauseated, I hate that & can't drink coke for it either which is my normal "fix" for upset stomach!
