I had to put some strings on last year! Now there are more out!! Whine!! And Wine! Looks like we will be looking for a new tree after Christmas.

I went looking last year after Xmas and couldn't find anything but the little bitty things. I'm not ready to give up a big tree!!

I suppose changing the burned out bulbs is too much. They are very cheap. You just have to get the right ones... the right voltage.

Yes, b/c I'm crippling around today like I need a cane. That was a challenge. Brand new custom home they moved into in May, and they have never dusted it. I though their furniture was antiqued, but it was months of dust, no antiquing. They never squeegeed their glass shower enclosures either, and you couldn't see thru them. They look brand new now!

I got a good wage, a great tip, and a new biweekly client out of it.

My last prelit tree........Had two strings of glued in burned out lights. I just kept buying new and adding right over the top of the glued in dark ones. Now that is white trash! The ceramic tree looks better than that.

That's what I call recycling, not white trash.

My whole string was burned out....200 bulbs. I am not going to take the time to check each bulb on 200 lights. Easier just to put new ones over them.
